Pascal Shoulder surgery - Recovery 5 months

Hows next years draft? This might be a low key blessing. Develop OG further, let our draft pick flourish, tank another season, see where we go from there. Raises the possibility we might draft a forward (Barnes, Kuminga, etc), and if they show enough, we might be able to trade Pascal for help at other positions.

Wow that is a huge disaster. Pascal is a guy who needs a full offseason to get ready and now he will come in without camp potentially. I guess I can forget about the Wiggins trade.

It's good that it's his left, but that's still going to affect rebounding and his ability to take hits for quite a while.

**** brutal. Lost a key developmental summer, and we all know how ass he was last year in the bubble when he didn't ball for months, looks like that's coming back. We better get some lottery luck for all the bull we've been through since the chip.

He won't miss much of the season if he recovers on schedule. The biggest concern is not being able to put in the work in offseason cause he still got a lot of things he needs to work on. Given what we know of his workouts though, not sure if he would've worked on what he needed to work on even if he were healthy.

whole offseason of work to get better is gone. why was he playing 40 mins a game while we were openly tanking

Can he practice shooting with his left shoulder in a sling? This is bad for those of us who wanted to compete next season. It will be the third season in a row in which Pascal is out of his normal rhythm.
