Jokic never gets calls. Its a complete joke if you look at his arms every game. This was flagrant 1 withotu considering the MVP status he earned. We all know LeBron would never foul out of a game and neither would other ... league stars. The different treatment is obvious, i've mentioned it only yesterday. The really ugly face we see here is not Jokic's.

On a side note why TF did it take this long for the Nuggets to play McGee. You traded for the dude and the. Just sat on him when he has proven effective in these exact moments?

Idiots.

Definitely wouldn't be crying on the floor that was the point. He got up fine he was just milking it like a soccer player. Ears still buzzing lmao give me a break.

You're not? It wasn't that bad, obviously Jokic should have gotten the flagrant. It wasn't painful enough to moan on the ground for minutes. I'm the neutral one here I'm not a Suns or Nuggets fan. Just find the soccer fake injury acts annoying.

I don't think Jokic should have been ejected in a game like this, however you are underselling the hit. A guy that size winding up and having his huge forearm comedown and across your nose would hurt like hell. Depending on the hit could rattle your head a bit, eyes water, could break a nose. You act like Jokic kissed him on the cheek.

Uhh no I didn't can't yall Suns fans be reasonable? Jesus... I was just saying it wasn't painful enough to be whining on the ground that long and he is obviously fine.

I'm unreasonable for thinking you are wrong? Jesus. How about you go take a 300lb mans arm across the face on a windup before you go around saying it wasn't painful enough for him to be on the ground collecting himself.

Apparently for you if the persons face isn't disfigured then it wasn't hard.

Yeah it’s definitely in the NBAs best interest for the MVP to be swept in the second round so they can push their interests of the juggernaut fan base of the Phoenix Suns. These refs are just a bunch of company men by calling the rules correctly.

Jokic shouldn’t of gotten ejected, got all ball on the swap and the arm contacting the face was accidental, it’s the playoffs in an elimination game, c’mon refs. Nuggets fired up now.

He wanted a hard foul (unnecessary contact), so it wasn't a basketball play, and he did hit him in the face (excessive contact), that's a definition of flagrant 2. I'm not suggesting he threw a punch, but don't pretend that it was a basketball play, there was no point in fouling Payne for other reason than showing his anger after no call.
Wargreymon wrote:Cam Payne's face looked the same and wasn't rearranged.

The definition of flagrant 2 says 'unnecessary and excessive contact', not 'contact with a face injury'. That was unnecessary and was excessive.

He was going for ball or arms, doesn't matter which. For the regular intentional foul that we often see to stop the fastbreak, especially when the player is frustrated he didn't get the call on the previous possession. It was not ejection-worthy, refs just don't respect Jokic for whatever reason.

Why would you try to whack someone like this? Completely uncalled for. Make a clean foul if you want to stop the game. If someone tried to wack me like this on the court, I would hit back immediately.

It was laughable to see Devin Booker try to talk tough to Jokic and Jokic staring him down and smiling at him as if to say :"What are you going to do about it?"

Booker won't do anything.

Weak ejection. But it looks like it fired up the team.

Connaughton didn't curl up like a little ************ for 5 minutes. He'll learn next time. And it will happen many times going forward after what these refs pulled tonight.
