He deserved to be ejected over that act of thuggery. Play stupid games win stupid prizes. Honestly they should rescind the MVP award and give it to Devin Booker. Possibly look into a suspension for next season.

I appreciate physical play - you know I love Oak and Mase - but I don't really want basketball to be that kind of sport where a wind up hit is allowable.

TBH, it would have been fine if they called it a 1 but I understand why they called it a 2. It's not for the hit itself but the wind up and follow through. He swung down hard and basically admitted after the game that he wanted to hit something with it for a hard foul. You don't swing down going for all ball. If he had gotten a chunk of Cam's head there he could have knocked him out. That's different from an Oakpush where you just hit the floor and that's that.

Just a reminder there was a very vocal segment of people here who were staunchly against trading for the guy who just dropped 37 points without attempting a 3...
