Yeah, I’d like to believe Phoenix can get there, but too much of their success relies on Chris Paul being healthy and that never happens.
LA and Bucks in the finals, Clippers in 6.

it feels like the suns are showing the league on how you SHOULD be building a competent team:
draft well first, then add the FA pieces that take you over the top. the opposite of what the knicks did for years.

As a white guy, I prefer “cracker”. That’s what I call my white friends.
Lmao now thats funny.
I have serious question do white people even care jf someone calls them cracker? Is it the same as if someone called us a spic? Or obviously the n word for morenos? Gook for asians lol. I know for Spanish and black people it's pretty serious and the most used to my knowledge.
tom segura does the most perfect bit to answer this question.
only incredibly racist, white people get upset if they're called honky/cracker, or any of the national ones - I'm german, so kraut. the rest of us don't give a ****.
it's from his special, Disgraceful, on Netflix, so i can't find a clip. Here's the transcript:
Now you know what I’m saying. So… You might be sitting in your seat now, going, “Tom, what can we still say?
What can we say?” I’ll tell you what you can say. White racial slurs. [audience laughs] All of ’em. Let her rip.
Spoiler:
Spoiler:
The best slur of all, for me, I think, is honky. And I’ll tell you why. The word honky is hilarious… in and of itself. But for some reason, truly racist white people have latched onto that word. It’s like this great indicator to know if someone’s racist. If they act like that word is offensive, run, okay? [audience laughs] You don’t believe me, watch the news. Next time there’s some racial fight in the news, they’ll find some hillbilly. “What happened?” He’ll be like, “Well, he called me a honky.” [audience laughs] And they’re like, “Did you pass out from laughing hysterically, or what happened next?” He’s like, “No, I stabbed him.” And you’re like, “Oh, ****. That’s ****’ crazy.” I’ll pay you to call me a honky. I don’t care. It’s a great word.
i put them in the spoiler effect because, A) i don't want to violate any terms on RealGM; B) in case there are people here who don't know these words. my family never used these words, so I never learned them until i went to college, and my hispanic buddy used a bunch of them, and i looked like an idiot for not knowing any of them

i think CP3 is a little bitch.
but you're 100% right. the man is a basketball genius, and exactly what the knicks could've used this season.

Not exercising the team option on Billups, using the amnesty on Stat… well won’t exactly be that Trio CP3 had in mind during the toast but he already had that chemistry with Tyson in NOLA.

Even without Amare (we basically were without him in the playoffs anyways) I still think we make it to the finals. Prime Chris Paul and prime Melo with the 2013 team is winning it all

Embiid got swept last year in the first round to a worse team then the suns
Just further confirms when you dont have help your not going to go far in the playoffs these days
Jokic played all 72 games vs Embiid playing 51 games. They are both great players but that was the biggest difference this season

Embiid lost to a team that was one game away from making the finals with much less help. Monte Morris scored 19, will Barton had 25, Porter had 20, campazzo had 14 off the bench last night. Jokic playing with g leaguers and having zero help is very exaggerated. He has more way help than Melo did in 2013
The biggest difference between Jokic and Embiid is really defense. That’s really all it is. The Suns spammed the pick and roll like its a cheat code on Jokic all series long. Until Jokic decides to play defense… he isn’t gonna win a championship. You can’t sacrifice defense at the 5 in today’s NBA.

Your not going to win MVP playing 51 games though. 72 games of Jokic is way better then 51 games of Embiid.
Will Barton was coming back from injury and only played 3 games. He def wasn't the same. Porter was banged up and struggled most of this series and might be as bad a defender then Jokic. Monte Morris and Campazzo are solid, but really not even close to being #2 or #3 guys. They were starting Austin Rivers who couldnt even make our roster
They aren't G-leaguers, but he def had little help compared to the Suns and other playoff teams. Its easily a bottom team in the league with what they had in the playoffs. They still took down the Blazers too.
Embiid had Horford, Tobias Harris, Richardson last year...that is more help and he got swept. This years Suns team is def better then last years Celtics team too.

agreed, the suns are playing great right now and CP3 is on a mission.
Tough to get on Jokic when the nuggets were decimated by injuries. Not having Murray. MPJ was dealing with back problems all series.
Nuggets 2nd best player was hurt, key rotational players to the point Austin Rivers was starting for them and he couldn't even crack the rotation for us.
Suns were just flat out more talented and better. I would like to see that series ran back next year with a healthy Murray and other pieces for the Nuggs.

Amar'e actually made us worse. There wasn't a single season where the Knicks weren't better with him off the floor. Triple negative just to confuse this board because y'all don't deserve better.
