No way does any coach with a brain let jeff Green torch us like that, get brook out of the game and get someone that can recover. I wouldve thrown Mamadi out there or did something different. that stupid **** drop defense with Brook has been cooked consistently all year! I damn near want this to end thursday because Bud doesnt even deserve a game 7 to do the same stupid ****

Prez wrote:We have literally the dumbest playoff coach in the league and the dumbest franchise player in the league. It does not get more fraudulent than a team built around those two. Bud is the more obvious and fixable problem this offseason but Giannis is honestly the more concerning one, because there isn’t a real solution to it outside of some incredibly unlikely trade for a Lillard type player.

Hard to peg this year's Paul. Especially considering we can't be party to any sign and trades, otherwise Lowry and Conley (again) would look appealing.

No way we're getting Lillard unless he explicitly requests to be traded here specifically.

In regards to the offense. It seems like they try a play. Normally a pick n roll and if the first read is stopped they reset and run iso. There's rarely a 2nd option and no movement outside of the other 2/3 guys. It's like they're too dumb to have movement.

Coach Carter wrote:Some of us tried to tell you guys, CP3.

I understand why you say this, but it is not as if CP3 has proved to be a guarantee for a championship.
For all we know, the Bucks would have made CP3 stand in the corner and take 3s.

It does not matter. Name any acquisition you want. There is a MAJOR problem in this team and it starts with their playstyle/philosophy.

It is incomprehensible to me for a team to say (and believe) that playing the way they want to play guarantees them success, especially in the postseason. They play against talented teams in the latter stages in the postseason; they need to study them, plan for them before the series and keep planning/adapting during the series.

+10000%. Criminal.

Just letting him burn Lopez or bring late help when he can read the floor. Nutty.

I’m 100% on this being the Bucks (mostly Bud’s) fault, but the reffing can make the NBA unwatchable at times. It wasn’t good, no matter what narrative you want to spin.

And Bucks fans should be allowed to say that. Being a fan shouldn't mean blind loyalty. I just want to see them play up to their ability, or at least close to it. I'm a mastery oriented person in life and I like to let results take care of themselves. The core of this team hasn't shown any progress or growth for years. They're still trying to just get back to the level they played at in the 2019 ECF, and even that was a big-time choke job.

I'll be interested to see how Barkley handles the Bucks taking him for a ride the same way they've done with us for 3 years. This is different from other WI sports heartbreak. It's not just disappointing, but kind of toxic.
Wut we've got here is... faaailure... to communakate.

Our offense in the second half was either an iso,or a single pnr(that the nets switched) and then an iso.You can give props to KD for an all time great performance but the Bucks could still win this game if they actually run an offense.

Did you really just post a lineup with the starting 2 guard being JR Smith?

Our actual management posted a lineup with the starting 2 guard being Tony Snell.

But Giannis basketball instincts suck and coaching doesn’t change that. You can coach Giannis perfectly and his bad instincts will always take over. He is a great player but he’ll never be a smart player.

I had some issues with us somehow unwilling to hardly ever double or deny Durant, but agree and this is an issue that will likely never go away.

Bottom line our core is mentally weak and rarely plays smart when it matters most. We'll change out Bud but I doubt this team ever wins it all.

I mean, this team had a worthless Harden (and Joe Harris!) and no Irving. We simply aren't a title team and never will be.

Pat was doubling on Durant all the time; that's how he got a few of his assists.

I would have definitely tried it, but are we sure Giannis is a good one on one defender? Seems like he constantly gets blown by and I don't think his length allows him to bother KD as much.

Barkley with the epic take. He feels disheartened for this team.

"That was a disgrace for basketball." I don't think anything else needs to be said.
"Wes, Hill, Ibaka, Allen, Nwora, Brook, Pat, Ingles, Khris are all slow-mo, injury prone ... a sandcastle waiting for playoff wave to get wrecked. A castle with no long-range archers... is destined to fall. That is all I have to say."-- FOTIS

The amazing thing is some in the game thread were blaming Middleton for this.
