Makes sense to go after Ham Billups Udoka and Cassell over the older Carlisle. Hes a dinosaur in todays league.

Apparently Udoka has a similar temperament to Stevens. Idk if that's gonna fly with these guys. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, but would be really nice to have a different personality like Billups or Cassel.

i'm happy with all the candidates in the running. i'd have been disappointed with larranaga, kidd, or carlisle, so good to hear they're not in the running. i don't know much about darvin ham the coach but it seems like he's well respected and ready for a head coach gig. i like the idea of bringing in a young assistant and let him grow with the jays.

Temperament wasn’t the issue, communicating with the players was. They love Brad, it just wasn’t working anymore.

This is why it wasnt the worst thing to elevate Brad to the FO. My understanding is that they do like and trust Brad; he just wasnt the right guy to be HC anymore and they needed someone different

This is not wrong. They still all agree that he has a GREAT basketball mind, just had issues with communication.

Udoka has received strong reviews from Celtics players who played for the U.S. national team in the 2019 World Cup tournament, sources said. Udoka was an assistant under national coach Gregg Popovich. Udoka joined Steve Nash's staff this year after one season with the Sixers and seven years under Popovich with the Spurs.

If the players want Udoka then I can't complain. Bring 'em in. Let's hope it works
