It's a risk. If he keeps getting hurt then it'd be a disaster. If he stays healthy he'll still be overpaid.
Counter: he's a much better player than he's showed last couple years and it's really hard to obtain rights to good players. Also, we need a big man and there aren't many (any?) good options out there besides the draft, and those guys will take 2-3 years to develop anyways.

He’s Bargs 2.0
A year ago, I was all for a KP trade. But watching him the playoffs, he legit looked like Bargs 2.0. No heart, defence, or grit. I think it's a combo of the injuries and not being a featured player, but he was probably my least favourite player to watch this postseason, on a really entertaining team.
If we genuinely believe he could return to form, he'd be a fantastic fit here. But I skeptical that he every gets back to that.
