I can't access the full article but I hope they are saying people can't toss themselves 2ft forward to draw a defensive foul. it's not a foul when someone has landed near you and you toss yourself into them, if they land ON YOU that's different! how about when a defender has their arm out and you clamp down on it, yeah that's not a foul on them. they did change the swim through into non-shooting but it shouldn't be a foul in the first place! my arm is out minding its own business not touching you and you are allowed to make contact with it and I'm at fault? defenders rarely get the same consideration for their space on the court.

Yep, get rid of that stuff. It would make the game so much better if you tried to beat your defender instead of pulling your arms thru theirs on a shot you would never take otherwise and hearing Mike Breen call it a savvy veteran move while we watch them shoot free throws.

two bolded teams that can use may want to trad Smart to.

The Pels may lose Lonzo and need some more defense or GS with 2 lottery picks may not want two youngsters, decide to roll with Smart for 14.

Boston gets a talented player, who is cheaper in pace of Smart who may ounce next summer.

Helluva pass Crowder just made. I tell ya what. Wherever Jae goes, his teams usually win.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

makubesu wrote:While Simmons is flawed, the real problem with this Sixers team is what we always knew it would be: Embiid’s health. He just played a series with a torn meniscus! If he’s healthy, they almost certainly advance.

So now you go into the off-season and your franchise corner stone just put a huge amount of stress on his body. When do you think he comes back? I think he will have an extended off-season.

So I think they keep Ben. Because even though they can probably get a Beal or McCollum, neither of those guys can hold down the fort without Embiid. So I really think you keep Simmons and just hope he improves.

The other idea is that you completely blow it up. How about trading Ben and Harris for Westbrook and Beal?

Goes to show that a process many years in the making can go poof in a year or two.

Yep, this suns team feels like the jays, smart, roze and horford season but they may actually win it because they took LBJ down which we could never. I'll be happy! I think they will need CP back eventually, but man they look so fun and tough!

Cade Cunningham will only visit the Pistons before the draft. This and him being "too cool for school" are huge red flags. I know they laughably drafted Hayes who is terrible and not their PG of the future, so they actually really do need a PG, but I take Green if I'm them especially after hearing this. Not only is he the best player but he's not a diva and you can't have two lead high usage guards anyway. That never works out. They should sign Ball, draft Green and free Sekou

Ball
Green
Bey
Grant
Stewart

that's something to get excited about if you're a Pistons fan

not really, GSW gets a 2nd lottery pick and OKC will be fine as they're loaded with good young players already and will add another. Barnes would fit perfectly and compliment what they're trying to do.

Kemba
SGA
Poku
Bazley
Barnes

that's a nice mix of scoring and defense with five guys who can all handle the ball and pass. Let Maledon develop behind Kemba, Roby and Dort with the depth. They aren't winning 40 games but they'll be in each one and with all those picks and young players they will be poised to be very active going after stars.

Warriors will probably end up with two guys like Jalen Johnson and Corey Kispert or trade one or both picks for veteran help. Seriously, both teams are set up far better for success than we are. I wouldn't feel too bad for them.

Good night for GSW, you take the 7th rather than the Wolves moving into top 3 and making playoffs next season (something Celts fans can appreciate about overachieving teams like Kings and Grizz)

I a weird twist of fate, when the history books as closed on the IT4/Irving trade, Crowder may end up being the shining jewel of it
156-1 Celtics are frauds when pressure is put on them. They would have been toast if Luka was not stupid enough to foul himself out. Enjoy this ONE finals win. There will never be another with the Js and the Celtics cant afford stacked team.
One of the better role players the league has seen recently and he stunk when he played next to bron with the cavs. Caught me off guard
