I'll need something convincing on why Draymond/Looney worked great, but Dray/Adams wouldn't work.
They got away with it because of the 620 minutes they played together Steph played 580 of them. That's not a lot of minutes over the course of a 72 game season and they paid a tiny fraction of the cost Adams would represent with salary and tax.
You should be thinking how can we upgrade Looney, not how can we pay both Looney and Adams a combined $80M or whatever it would be and still have neither of them in your closing 5 in games that matter.
Warriors just aren't going to throw money around foolishly like that.
Is Plumlee a good fit? He could play the Bogut role with ease it seems.
I think Plumlee would be a fine fit, not sure what the deal would be though. I wouldn't be interested in giving up much in a Looney/Plumlee swap and I don't really see much else that works.
