Wood.

Iggie and Herro for Wood and KPJ

Rockets have zero reason to cash in Wood unless it’s for a haul of picks. He’s on a value contract and giving them there money’s worth. He’s primed to play PF next to Mobley.

If i had to take a wild guess it’s John Wall and a 1st round pick to open up our other picks.

Don't like Simmons but Simmons + picks for Yimmy sounds good rn.

Bam, Simmons, Herro get us a lotto pick and a chance at Chet Holgreen and them. Simmons can debut a 3pt sky hook

Riley did say we would be getting some players from this draft. Rockets have 4 1st rd picks in this draft. 2,18,23,and 24.

Mobley and Wood are both twigs.

Not saying such an experiment wouldn’t be worth trying.

But Hou I’m sure realizes that they would get pounded by girthier teams.

I think they’ll give it a shot. They are not trading Woods unless it’s for a healthy package. I also have them resigning KO to bring Mobley along and to give them a solid bench option. They have a rock solid player in Woods locked in at a discount. We just want to throw him in trades because he’s a perfect fit next to Bam.

Will trade Herro for number 2.

I’ll take 18,23 and a 2023 1st. Get Johnny Juzang to replace Herro.

I think Hou would absolutely consider trading Wood for Herro and it has nothing to do with a Mia fan bias.

Hou will be stuck in the lottery for years to come and will need a young player who can sell tickets and jerseys to their fan base.

Wood doesn’t move the needle in that regard and Herro does.

Btw, it stings that it’s come to this hypothetical swap considering Mia could of had Wood for nothing last offseason.

How about flipping the 7 to Cleveland for Sexton? Or do you like JJ more potentially?

What specifically would you add to #7? I think Herro plus 7 may be an overpay.

I think #7 could be considered quality value. I'd do Nunn and #7, but that's as far as I'd go, and I think that's an overpay based on Cleveland being sellers in a potentially weak market.

I don't feel it is a weak market at all.

If Miami added Nunn to Golden State (from where we robbed him), they might be able to get more draft compensation on the Golden State deal. This would also make it net positive (assuming Nunn gets $15m or so).

Not familiar with Juzang. Tankathon has him in the 50s on their big board. You would be taking him at 18 or 23?

Did a quick Google and got the Knicks, Spurs, Thunder, and Houston as potential suitors for Sexton. What would any of those teams have to offer up that would beat out the 7th pick by itself? OKC could offer the sixth, but they really value their picks, so it doesn't seem realistic. Draft pick compensation wouldn't be strong from any of those teams for Sexton. That and the receiving team would have to be sure they want to pay him, and soon.

A quick Google also has his teammates on the Cavs being frustrated with his style of play. Being too ball dominant.

I just don't see the market being strong due to those factors.

For what it's worth, I'd have a hard time moving Herro for anything not a top four pick. From pick five onward, I'm not sold at all on moving Herro. He just finished his 2nd year averaging 15 points a game in 30 minutes. We know he can shoot it, and he has big balls. Once he gets into a rhythm with the lifestyle of the league, and gets organized, then he could be a guy you can rely on as a consistent scorer.

Juzang was really good for UCLA during the final 4 run. Kid can shoot and score. Nbadraft.net has him 24th. He’s my Quickley this year.

If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade
