Same thing in the bubble, we missed our chance for a finals stint because we choked. Anything could happen in the finals. An imjury there could really change things for us. Even for underdogs. Hope Giannis can get back.

This 100%. And it's on mgmt. Spending resources both unwisely and cheaply. Token effort to compete since the year before last.

They should have taken the Starters out, awhile ago.
Bucks were down, when Giannis was still in. Without him, the game is over.

Yeah, I fear what would've happened to Tatum, given the extremely heavy load he'd have to carry every series.

Well with the popular Smart Fournier Brown Tatum Timelord core - it's bound to happen.

A lot of players have been injured. Pentagon releases a report about UFOs. Are we sure we’re not just part of some viral advertisement for space jam 2?

Love the parity this year, but whoever wins is going to have five asterisks next to their name in the record books.. these teams make the 2004 Pistons look like the 86 Celtics

Probably better for the product long-term if they started next season in January and played 48 games

Why do people keep pissing on the 2004 Pistons? That team was legit, they arguably had the greatest defense of all time. They completely wrecked the loaded Lakers in the Finals, and nearly went back-to-back after they lost in 7 to the Spurs in the 2005 Finals.

If you're going to use an example of a "weak champion," I suggest going with the 2006 Heat. That's probably the fakest championship ever, never mind the obvious ref job all series. The team wasn't as strong, and they got swept in the first round by an uninspiring Bulls team the next year.

Agreed, that pistons team was the business!

They were very deserving and curb stomped a loaded Lakers team that everybody thought was coasting to a chip. Then they ran it back the next year and went to 7 games against the spurs in a classic finals (for basketball enthusiasts). Then they won 64 games the year after that with the same core and had 4 all stars. The Pistons were good.

One cool thing about that team is that it had no superstars. IIRC, no player on the roster was making more than $5 or $6 million per, or something like that. I'm sure David Stern wasn't overly happy that a "boring," no-star team made it to the finals (and won).

Honestly one of the worst knee extensions I’ve seen.. bent to the left maybe 40 degrees or so.

He walked off after a while and there’s a chance it’s not an ACL but would be surprised to see him back this post season.

Pistons were, but once Malone got hurt the Lakers were toast.

Yes exactly!! Some people need superstars to understand a team is good.

Good. This all but assures that karma will kick the Nets in the balls again next season.
