Of course he had to play great. Brook Lopez's entire legacy was on the line in these last two games, or something.
This place is a cesspool of mindless ineptitude, mental decrepitude, and intellectual lassitude. I refuse to be sucked any deeper into this whirlpool of groupthink sewage. My opinions have been expressed. I'm going to go take a shower.

Now I hope that Bucks will be able to beat Hawks, just give a chance for Lopez to shine 8-)

Brolo is gonna get played off the floor again. No Giannis help defense to bail out those cement feet anymore.

Well, I'm glad that I wasn't wrong again

Lopez played outstanding game on both ends of the floor and he proved that he's still capable of being huge offensive weapon when you don't force him to be a corner three specialist. He's such an inteligent player, he made me turn into Bucks fan right now :D

Holiday also played very good game and Portis gave Bucks a lot. I like this team so much when they play like they did last night.

This is an all-time playoff performance because of the box score stats and because his teammate went down with injury and he willed them to victory. Right, KD stans?

Hopefully there will be less injuries (to All-Star caliber players) in the playoffs next year.

The Suns and the Bucks are very lucky that they have faced teams that were hampered by injuries to their key players.

Such is life though. Sometimes you get a good deck of cards, sometimes you don't.

I know the Hawks have injuries, but I can't help but think:

The 76ers need to be under no illusion that they were a contender this year. Embiid is all that, I believe you can built a championship team around him, but Simmons was going to kill them in the playoffs in 100% of all parallel universes.

By contrast, I really do think the Jazz could have won the title this year. I don't think the lesson this year for them is "Can't win with Gobert". They have an exploit yes, but it's essentially dependent on having enough threat in your lead offensive guys that your #5 guy ends up open from 3 and can reliably drain those shots. Replicatable yes, and thus a concern for the Jazz to be sure...but being able to be beaten by really, really great team offense is not the same thing as making your team play 4-on-5 on offense while pushing your #1 player out of position.

I feel like if every team was 100% healthy theres no scenario the Jazz win the title. I do agree its not like you cant win with gobert the same was you cant win with ben. However they've probably gone too far the other way from all defense to all offense. Outside of gobert their defense was not good and even their offense was way too one dimensional. Donny injury hurt and i might be undervaluing conley.

With philly, as floored as they were i still think they missed an opportunity at the finals. They very easily could have beaten the hawks. 7 games and they blew a couple. Could they beat the bucks without giannis? I think so, they have great defensive potential. Lets not forget embiid also had a major injury, as is tradition.

So as fatally floored as philly if they could have definitely made the finals imo. This is an insanely weak year for the final 4 though. Never been this poor level of a final 4 that ive ever seen. They do need to move on from ben though. With the reports of brogdon + a 1st for ben looks like they'll be able to. That trade alone would make them better so he has some value. Brogdon is really good. Maybe they'll land CJ, which is a trade ive been saying they really should try make happen.

Dont think we'll be seeing BobbyPortisFan again for a while

Bucks halfcourt offense is far smoother without Giannis. Gets postups for Brook, pick and roll/lobs.

Giannis doesnt have good handles. Cant run pick and roll at a high level. Cant shoot. Has no consistent post game or moves. Due to all his holes you NEED 4 shooters around him and it makes the Bucks players look far more limited than they are with how much they have to play off Giannis and be spotup 3pt shooters most the game

Gotta give it to the Hawks. They had no business being in the ECF and pushed it to six games, and you can tell that team expected to win every game.

Now it's up to the Bucks to stop CP3 from being a champion.

What happened on the thread crapping on Giannis's teammates unnecessarily last time they lost? Was it moved to another section? (if so good job mods)

All I know is imagine how good some players could be if they had the utterly irrational self-belief Cam Reddish was channeling tonight.

Jrue and Khris in back to back wins to get us to the NBA finals without our best player:

Jrue: 26/8/11 w/ 2.5 STL
Khris: 29/9/8 w/ 2.5 STL

Congrats Prez. Glad you guys finally got over the initial hump.

What is the status on Giannis for the finals?
