SGA is one of the best slashers in the game. He's the opposite of many of these gs in this draft that I don't love. I honestly don't care about quickness and athleticism. If you have elite handle, I'm happy with that.

And if there’s a SGA in this draft, it likely won’t available with a first round pick that is 2 picks away from a second round pick.

Tre Mann is the only guy on my list I'm worried about being taken before pick #28. There will plenty of my guys on the board at #28.

I fully expect Mann to go top 20. I don’t see a reason to believe he’ll fall to us unless he’s a headcase.

Nah Kobble doesn’t like him not a midget guard that can’t defend thinks there’s studs at pick 28#. Thinks this draft is good (it is but only to pick 4....)
My boy Try Murphy is quality yes yes!!

Kobble don’t know how to tell you this but Mann and Christopher and Butler (if the heart checks out) ain’t lasting to pick 28. Wouldn’t be shocked at all if Mann and Josh were top 20.
This draft doesn’t have that kind of depth.
Hence why Murphy is in our ballpark and a really good pickup at 28#.

Re: 2020-2021 College Basketball / NBA Draft
Trey Murphy III:
- Can honestly say he’s the smartest cutter in this draft for a wing (honestly couldn’t tell you who was better at it).
- Great Shooter no question about it.
- Wing sized but lacks weight on his frame (one and only concern which isn’t even basketball skilled related lol just strength related).
- Can be slow on rotations (feet, concentration) but the true kicker here is he has very good defensive IQ, doesn’t get lost on switches or PNR or broken plays and position (fundamental defensive stances) wise is very sound when contesting on the outer or interior. Don’t have to teach him on that side of the ball. Like there’s no WTF where did I go wrong? or what do I do know? that even players today do because they can’t defense lol
- Solid passer on link plays. (Underrated kind of how Bridges is).
- Add the one or two dribble pull up that’s very translatable is really all that’s needed for him because he’s such a great shooter. Nothing fancy, hes not a ballhandler, nor a great rebounder. Can get up with a head of steam on the dunks.
- One of the best 3+D prospects in this class and for me has a safe as houses floor with a nice ceiling to improve.
- Gives me OG vibes. Or the Mikal we should have had years ago.
100% buy.

Trey Murphy sucks, bro.
He's a shooting specialist that can't rebound, put the ball on the floor, or make plays defensively.
Remember after the playoff disaster you realized we need creators? How did you forgot that fast and back on the train of wanting to draft guys that offer nothing in the playoffs?

Re: 2020-2021 College Basketball / NBA Draft
Kobble thinks we can get a superstar at pick 28# lol.
Disregard legit NBA 3+D quality that literally every team has more then one off.
But please pick that superstar at 28... hmmm this draft I do not think so. Best believe that.

You're making shh up.
I said get a creator. Not a standstill scrub that offers us nothing in the playoffs. Have you learned anything at all from the last four second round embarrassments?
We don't need standstill scrubs, we need guys that can get buckets.

Re: 2020-2021 College Basketball / NBA Draft
My fav 11 of this draft:
1. Jalen Green
2. Evan Mobley
3. Jalen Suggs
4. Josh Christopher
5. James Bouknight
6. Tre Mann
7. Jared Butler
8. Trey Murphy III
9. Roko Prkacin
10. Filip Petrusev
11. Josh Giddey
(Cade is auto but he is boring on any list lmao).
I’m betting these will all be NBA players in due time.
If I’m wrong I’m wrong but that’s my prediction and I’m sticking to it.

Okay your infatuation with the Coby White’s and Colin Sexton’s of the world will hold you in good stead.
I’ll bet house money Garland will be better then both in due time. That I have no doubt whatsoever.
Duarte is solid.... but he’s 24 stop it.

Hypothetically if Ben got traded to the Magic for picks and players and the picks included 5 & 8, who would you guys target? Assume the top 4 goes Cade/Mobley/Green/Suggs. No trade ups either. It's the most ambiguous range in the draft for me.

It’s in the eye of the beholder. Roko intrigues me a lot. And Filip is a euro big that you can pick and pop all day long. He is the best shooter in this class on the long ball for a big man. Huge production numbers

Kuminga for sure at 5 = upside reason and can play wing; i will red shirt him and develop him for next year. Cross your finger that he can be someone like Siakam but better shooting down the road.
Bouknight or Wagner at 8 = good foundation to be better players in the future.
Boughknight = Could provide Cameron Payne or Lou Will production from year 1&2; cross your finger that he can be someone like CJ down the road.
Wagner = He’s one of the youngest players on the lottery, possessing all around skills and necessary good foundations to be good such as IQ, some playmaking, good FT% and already is a great defender. He is also the analytics darling of the draft as per Pelton. Cross your finger that he can be someone like Hayward with better defense down the road.
You can then slide Maxey to higher usage and Bouknight take Maxey’s role. Then slide Thybulle to higher usage and let Wagner take Thybulle’s role.
So you’ll be better from the get go next season because of playing the right way. Then you have Kuminga, Wagner, Bouknight, Maxey and picks as treasure chest of assets to strike for a right deal once available
If not.. You still have a good chance that one of Kuminga, Wagner or Bouknight will be better than Ben down the road.

Outside of the first 4 picks it’s a big blanket for me from 4-10. If I wasn’t using those picks to trade up or for an established quality player I wouldn’t be enticed for what is in those ranges imo.
Kuminga, Barnes, Johnson 2x, Garuba, Sengun, Williams, Wagner, Kispert? A lot of rawness or not enough upside all the way down. Legit at pick 5 you can make a fair case for a flawed prospect.
If Mann, Bouknight or Christopher is outside the top ten i’d probably forgoe that and get them.
You’re most likely not missing out on much but that’s where I’m at with this draft.
76ciology please not the Hayward comp. Watch the games they are different.
Jazz Hayward was butter. College Hayward too.
Cade is a bigger less bouncy Hayward or a smaller Tatum for my comp.
Wagner is Kyle Andersonish down to the head bob lol.
Do not get the Murray (Bouknight), Lavine (Bouknight), Tatum or Luka (Cade) comps at all.
And the worst is Beal for Green.... Yeah if Beal had Morant freak athleticism and was taller sure.
It’s like people didn’t actually watch College Games and just read numbers off a stat sheet lol.
Murray was a 200+ pounder in College. Both him and Tatum was A grade quality both of them. Such sound high tier prospects.
Tatum and Lavine have longish legs and continued to grow height wise through college and NBA.
JJJ was super young and got taller too.
Kidd for Suggs is actually quite spot on to me.
Dude Odom comp for Ben was actually quite near enough ironically lol.
Joe Johnson and Hayward was Luka’s comp for crying out loud pre draft.
Yeah if Manu or James harden was Joe Johnson size I can see that lol.

Also don’t sleep on Roko folks he’s having a nice little growth spurt as we speak, reportedly 6”9” now and extremely sturdy obviously. Very very young too.
Me likely! I pick these 11 for a reason
