Josh Primo - Alabama

Post#1 » by clyde21 » Thu Jun 24, 2021 10:08 pm

didn't talk about him much honestly just because I kinda thought he'll go back to school but it's looking more and more likely that he'll commit to staying in the 21 draft class because the hype around him is just getting started.

this guy really should not drop out of the 1st round, or even the first top20 picks, if he stays in the draft. good size for his position, decent ball skills, has some combo-guard potential, has a + athletic profile, shooting looks promising as well.

it'll be interesting to see if he decides to return or stay put in the draft, but either way probably deserves his own thread.

Late first in the 20-30 range if lucky. Tools and age are on his side.

It's one guy that always rises outta nowhere. Reminds me a bit of SGA. If I'm Atl, could be one of the better fits alongside Trae at pick 20.

What is it with every prospect getting comped to SGA these days?

im obviously a Bama fan. he really needed to go back for another year. Jaden Shackelford was the best scorer on the team and he isnt even in any mock drafts. Primo was a spot starter/6th man. he really needs another year. he doesnt have great handles. no way i see him going in the 1st round

Probably made a sound decision to go pro, that sounds like exactly the type of guy that GMs reach on.

love me some Bama, but he isnt close to one of the 60th best players in the draft. he was maybe 6th or 7th best on his team.

I know. just saying, Primo is 6'6, doesnt have great handles and i just cant see him going 1st round let alone drafted at all

and if NBA GMs tell him otherwise he's gonna say in the draft.
