He seems like an interesting prospects. Really young, but he looks athletic, has a quick first step, and has a 7 foot wingspan. He looks extremely raw though, but depending on how hard of a worker her is, maybe he could be a player. That said, despite his young age, there doesn't seem to any skill that he has that really stands out.

An ideal 2nd Round Draft and stash player. Draft him and let him play a season or two in Europe. Then bring him over.

Considering they only have the 38 pick, that shouldn't be too hard.

Would love a first round trade in but I'm fine staying at 38 and taking a swing at Isaiah Todd (maybe grab another early 2nd).

Well, I read that wrong on the draft board and thought they had 2 2nd's.

Also, they pick swapped with the Pelicans, so they have 40 and not 38 :banghead:

Um no, we have the 38 pick as the result of the pick swap...

That French kid looks nice-could definitely see a pick like that, and stash him for a year

Yeah, but it's actually a pretty good year for anyone who wants to buy another pick. Lots of teams have stockpiled picks - the reality is, most teams aren't going to draft and sign 3+ rookies.

If you want to add a second round pick, these teams are heavy in the draft:

    -OKC have 16, 18, 34 and 36

    -Pistons have 1, 37, 42 and 52

    -Pelicans have picks 10, 40 and 43

    -Magic have 5, 8 and 33

    -Knicks have 19, 21, 32 and 58

    -Nets have 27, 44, 49 and 59

    -Raptors have 4, 46 and 47

    -Hornets have 11, 56 and 57

    -Pacers have 13, 54 and 60

So - there are definitely picks available if we want them. We can probably add something in the 32-44 range, and we could definitely buy a picks somewhere from 46-60

I want as many second-rounders as possible.
One or two should make the roster, then two way players and maybe a draft and stash.

I am not too excited about the draft, but I would love us to trade our 38 to the Nets for their 44 and 49, plus any needed cash considerations. then, Trade next year's 2nd round pick to the Raptors for their 46 and 47, plus cash considerations as needed. Having three or four 2nd rounds could allow us to bring in two new players, and get two draft and stash in Europe players. Add Devin Dotson to our team, And Marco Simonovic (spelling?), and we could have four new young players added to our team. Then, round out with free agents. Miami added two non drafted players that made their team. With all the improvements in college ball, 2nd rounders might start having first-round talent quite often.

Agreed, most of the latest visits seem to be players that would go undrafted and may sign 2 way deals.

I was just in Clarksville last weekend, passing thru except for the obligatory stop at White Castle.

Nice. You must've been psyched when Trenton Hassell came out with such a strong rookie season. Really thought he was going to be a better pro than he ended up being based on that start.

Anyone know if we worked out Makur Maker? I know very little about him, and honestly haven't been that impressed by his few highlights that exist. That said, he ranked 16th in ESPN's Top 100 high school class and had his season cut short due to injury and then COVID. He sort of strikes me as the type of high potential guy that Denver seems to like gambling on (Bol Bol).

White Castle? Pfft. Next time you need to take a few extra minutes and head down to campus and get a bacon cheeseburger with egg at Johnny’s and a honey bun with ice cream. Trust me, it’s worth the extra time.
