As well they should. I find it hard that any objective NBA fan could not root for the Bucks. Such a likeable group of guys who all play the right way. There's no whining, there's no flopping, it's just straight up basketball.

Pat C launching Jae Crowder into outerspace by putting two hands on his tummy was probably more than anyone could tolerate. Jae hitting himself in the eye while reacting to having his lipped touched and then as a result poking his own eye while he dies on the court should have been more than anyone can tolerate.

I honestly believe Chris Paul holds daily sessions about how to play the refs and behave this way, because a lot of these guys were just not this annoying before his arrival. And I will say it is obviously effective, because without it, we'd be up at least another game.

Crowder is having a pretty good series for a role player. He is cutting off Giannis with good positional defense. He is hitting his open looks from behind the arch. He plays with good energy and effort. But he should be embarrassed about the orchestrated flops. You can't be a tough guy and intimidator and also trick the refs that Pat Connoughton is bullying you.

But the Kings can't do anything right so maybe they'd actually trade him and watch him turn into a multi-time All-Star elsewhere. If they want Simmons then the Sixers can have any combination of Hield, Barnes, Bagley, and the #9 pick, but Fox would be an absolute non-starter for me.

League perception on point guards who aren’t great shooters from deep is at an all time low. I really like Fox, but if you’re in that organization and trying to find the last guy who played a similar game have success it’s who, John Wall?

Conversely, Simmons is also an odd fit for today’s game. That said, if you get him on a team without Embiid who can just attack in transition and play up tempo he’s in a much better fit. He has to play the Giannis role though. Put him in the dunker spot. Give him some opportunities up top, but stop with the point guard nonsense. We saw him drop 40 on Gobert and the Jazz. The Kings are in a good position to blow up the Barnes/Buddy group and build a team that makes sense. They’ve had an identity crisis for years now.

It might just be a situation where both teams are buying low. I still think the Kings could probably get another piece (Maxey or a pick) in the deal.

Derrick Rose pre-ACL? Russell Westbrook? Ja Morant? I think the need for your lead ball-handler to be a volume-3PT shooter on 36-40% is a bit overstated. Fox is a freak athlete and already one of the best slasher/finishers in the league for his position (76% at the rim). He can create his own shot just fine, gets to the line a lot, and it's not like he's allergic to jumpers like Simmons or even a prime Rajon Rondo type guy. I find it weird how a Top-10 pick who's improved his numbers and efficiency every single year isn't getting talked about more as one of the league's rising stars, just because he's on a garbage Kings team.

He's a legend there. Just a good solid player when in the NBA, imo.

Will absolutely soil my undergarments when he breaks a hip while flopping in hopes of getting a charge.

I don't watch any of the sports talk shows, but just turned on the jump and caught the end of a piece the did on the doctor that goes to bucks games and tells the crowd to get up. Seems like a really good guy. I'm gonna try to find the clip but if anyone finds it, could you post it? I've seen that guy at games for many years and is an arena staple. I guess they had lasry on as well.

Dr. Dave is the best. Superfans are usually the worst, but not the Doc.

Toronto's guy is great, too. Thus ends this brief chapter of "In Praise of the Raptors."

Thanks. Now I can share that with others. It's funny, many years ago, probably during save our bucks time, Dr Dave was being shown on fox sports quite a bit during the games. At the time, I don't think anyone knew who he was. Someone on this board, said he was a bucks executive or plant, and said his name (incorrect name). I remember some others piling on, until hilariously someone posted his bio as a doctor from some site. Idk how long he has been going to games, but he's been wanted the crowd to get up for many years. Happy for the guy to be apart of this finals.

Dr. Margolis is genuinely a great guy and a fantastic oncologist.

Damian Lillard "expected" to request a trade in the coming days? The hell is that?!

Lillard forcing his way out is bad for the NBA.

Giannis in the finals should be a league-wide celebration of loyal superstars who build their own teams.

But I'm sure Dame will be heartened by how happy the likes of Stephen A. will undoubtedly be.
