I still prefer Edge's version of the Spear where he kneels after the impact

Heel Otis has been great. Him and Gable need the tag titles right now.

Sucks that someone got hurt right before they go back on the road. Put her on commentary with Cole and McAfee.

Do people actually like Pat mcafee? I find his schtick annoying and he just tries to get himself over. A distraction more than an enhancement to the show.

Owens vs Zayn Last Man Standing was absolute fantastic to me, I'm glad they got a real blowout since I wasn't a big fan of the injury angle at Hell in a Cell

I'm a bit tired of Boogs and Kingsuke and McAfee's reactions to it, but hard times Baron Corbin is a fun little storyline to make it worth it

Pretty good return show. The fans make such a big difference.

I’ve always liked Rollins as a talent, but whatever his current gimmick is — it’s a little too busy. The crazy suits backstage/during interviews, the leather jacket on the way to the ring, the manic/random laughing episodes — I just don’t get what it’s supposed to be.

Doesn't help that Rollins has a new theme. The Messiah has been dropped I suppose, and whatever that is he did with Cesaro the believe or trust the vision or something

Character is confusing

Hoping this is a Prince Devitt debut and not a Finn Bálor return

Rollins is just funny.
It doesn't make sense, but it's funny to me.

Crowds make this product so much better.

I'm currently watching fresh SD uploads in YT and I'm very confused with the venue. Where are they? One video they are in a closed arena and some have them in an open area in Miami

That opening segment with Cena… I thought the roof was going to blow off the place, jeez. It reminded me of this Hogan segment from and 02 Smackdown, shortly after he returned the red and yellow where they just absolutely wouldn’t let him speak.

Edit:

Just watched the Roman segment to close out the show and it was outstanding. He looks infinitely more comfortable speaking in front of crowds than he did even two years ago. It didn’t sound like he was reciting a script either — it sounded like he had bullet points and just went down the line hitting them but in his own words.

Ratings are holding up okay. I can't even say I'm bothered much by Raw's drop this year as long as Smackdown holds up.

It's hard to say being on Fridays is hurting them much. I have no complaints if they stay on Fridays for years to come.

Ratings were at their lowest around the time Cesaro was being pushed. Is he being punished?

I worry about Roman going to Raw with the draft. Assuming he's helping ratings, it is a worry.
