Probably reach 100 pages and then Sexton gets traded to Miami and Knicks resign Elf.
But its all good because we're saving that cap money for our superstar

Should I go see what Raymond Felton is up to?

Rather hold onto Obi give them another pick or something.

Still don't know how Obi gets no respect yet Franks got a fan club that rivals Bieber.

Yao was one of the best C in the league. Hachimura is multiethnic and he gets racist comments all of the time. Don't know much about the last kids situation, but if Lin were top 30 in the league at point, he would be in the league, but amongst his similarly talents contemporaries, his race seems to create a divide which takes away his opportunities.
Lin was helpful for our w/l record when healthy. Had he been Af-Am, Melo would have made sure that Lin would have had a contract to sign with the Knicks. This is the team that signed Chris Smith after all...
And they currently have Watanabe.
Lin is a mid 30s athlete with a bum leg and a game predicated on athleticism while not being able to go left. He is no longer marketable, no longer talented. It's not like he left the Knicks and got blackballed. He signed a poison pill contract which is why Melo called it ridiculous. It wasn't the amount it was the structure.
There is plenty of anti-Asian bigotry and it worked both for and against Lin but I don't think he was dropped for being Asian. It seems more that he was no longer good enough.

I think this argument for Lin might have worked if/when he wasn't getting playing opportunities like 6 years ago, but as you said, now that he's mid 30's with already not elite athleticism starting to fade AND a bad leg, I think it's just teams going with the younger guys.
You think the Nets didn't call him up because they are anti-Asian? Didn't they have Dinwiddie and Kyrie last year?nykballa2k4 wrote:thebuzzardman wrote:prophet_of_rage wrote:I don't think it is that simple. nets would have been better last season with Lin.

It's not that Obi gets no respect. It's just that Obi is blocked by Randle. Who's Frank blocked by?![]()
Obi has a shyt beginning to the season but really looked good at the end, particularly in the playoffs. I would prefer that we don't give him up.
