The talent of this class is on the defensive side. I think there will be multiple all-NBA defensive players in this draft class.

Cunningham, Mobley, Suggs, Barnes, Mitchell, Kuminga, Wagner, the Johnsons, Mitchell, Jones, Murphy, Jackson, Springer, etc. have all been praised for their defense.

u missed of the best defenders

Popovich already has to be in love with Usman. The problem is that Kerr is there too.

You guys see him small?. I tould you that he is underrated in that aspect he look at least the same as Bam.

He looks smaller than Bam and his jumper is completely broken

He didn't shoot only a corner three and didn't looked bad because they didn't passed him a ball lol imagine how frustate this kid has to be to don't touch a ball and have to play with a dust like Pau Gasol next to him playing the game trough him. He looked bigger than Draymond Green and similiar like Adebayo the same as Gerami Grant in weight anyways more o less tall he looked phisically really good and totally ready versus those guys. For being a 19 years old kid he looked really good in this game good decisions when they let him touch a ball. And he has defended Durant really good all the game I think he didn't score being defended by this kid he locked everyone that has tried to score over him.

Hurt how bad this kid is used on offense.

I'd guess out of those names
Sengun
Garuba
Jackson
Cooper

Last is a toss up but I'd go Cam Thomas - HR Duarte

i dont get it...if the top 3 teams want Cade/Mobley/Green what does that have to do with Toronto wanting Barnes at 4?

if it's a smokescreen, it's a smokescreen to trade down with someone that wants Barnes.

I don't think Cleveland is sold on Mobley and rumored to really like Kuminga. I think Toronto is pumping up Barnes/Kuminga stock. I have little doubt Toronto is focusing on Suggs/Mobley and doing their diligence with Barnes, Kuminga and the rest. With that said I do think if we stayed at 7 they'd circle Kuminga/Barnes/Sengun.

I hope Masai takes a good look at Scottie Lewis with one of our seconds. Always solid defensively and can't teach his athleticism, effort. Old footage but look at the passion for defense.

Sungun as well. He has film where he consistently defends guards on switches in the Turkish league. He finished 8th/2nd in the league in Steals/Blocks.

How perfect would it be if Suggs fell to Golden State at #7. What a perfect fit.

How else do you want him to be used on offense? He can’t really create anything on his own. He’s just a smaller Clint capela who can switch on defense. I don’t really see anything special in him. His broken jump shot is what’s going to limit his ceiling.

who's to say the Cavs aren't doing the same thing with Kuminga that the Raps are doing with Barnes?

point is either way if the Cavs want Mobley, nothing the Raptors say they will do at 4 will change that. smokescreens are way more likely to get someone to trade up than they are to get someone picking ahead of you picking someone u want them to pick.

It’s already been confirmed Cavs aren’t picking Kuminga by those in the know on RCF, so these are most likely just positive reports meant to establish some good will. Won’t know more until after the draft but I’m guessing he had a rough workout.

Wouldn’t Orlando be trading in for Mobley though?

Would Orlando trade 5 & 8 for 3? Who would Cleveland hope for at 8 after taking kuminga 5? & What would Toronto possibly offer to go from 4 to 3?

How perfect would it be if Suggs fell to Golden State at #7. What a perfect fit.

As a Gonzaga fan and huge fan of what Suggs did there and the type of person he seems to be in addition to his game and talents…. Yes that would be perfect for Suggs. Perfect for GS.

What in addition to #7 could GS consider trading for Suggs? 14 too much prob?
