Great news for both the city and country as well. When I play pickup I notice sometimes the girls feel hesitant or left out so I always try to make the effort to let them sub with me. More exposure of the sport will encourage girls to pick up a basketball and have the confidence to take on the fake tough guys! Go Rapt”hers”?

The Toronto Chevrons...it's pretty much our logo these days. May as well double down on the Chevron...

It was inevitable and overdue. I think there rumblings of it after we won the chip, but covid put a hold on it.

I gave up my Raps seasons after the championship, but I would definitely get seasons for the Lady Raps. I miss live hoops. Hopefully it's more affordable. And it would be a great influence for my daughter.

As for the team name, I think it will be totally separate from the Raps/dino theme. I like the names that aren't pluralized, like Storm, Jazz, Heat, 905, etc. Makes it unique.

MLSE probably. I doubt if they care. They’ll probably get subsidized by the league not to mention the tax writeoffs

Would be awesome but I’ll be just as happy with Hailey Van Lith too. Suggs girl and she’s a legit baller too

Make them a Toronto power couple lol

Meh, if MLSE wants to subsidize a franchise that loses money because that is the expectations of being a 1st Tier sports city, I'm fine with it... However, will I support the move by way of contributing my time or money towards tickets or merchandize? Unlikely...

I honestly think this one of the things Masai wanted when he last spoke at the end of season presser.

I probably won't watch it but there is a demographic for it.

What did he say that you think might’ve been referring to this? I don’t remember
