Speaking of Paul, he must have the worst BO because the Bucks left him open most of the night, have you ever seen a team in the finals do such a poor job of guarding a switch? Paul had open shots from the free throw line all night.
I know that no one cares about game analysis now that the series is over and Giannis put up huge numbers, but he really needs to stop shooting 3's, or anything outside of 12 ft.
During the regular season, go for it, but in the finals, all those 3's he was taking for no reason would have frustrated me if I were a Bucks fan. Obviously it doesn't matter now and he did a LOT of things to make up for his wasted possessions but I hope he cuts that out of his game and focuses on what works. I couldn't believe Ayton bit on one of his pump fakes on a three and left his feet![]()
Holiday was so careless with the ball, he looked like he was playing a preseason game, I understand playing loose but that was overboard. The Bucks as a team had so many unforced turnovers in this game, the Giannis travel bringing the ball up, the Middleton pass to Holiday that went out of bounds and a few others I can't think of right now
The Suns should still be proud of getting as far as they did, but blowing that 2-0 lead has to hurt.
If the Bucks over-compensate to guard him, they will have to either leave an opening to a roll man or help off a 3PT shooter. Part of the Bucks defensive plan was to stay with the Suns shooters as best as possible. Now, Paul is obviously a smart player, so this means that you will likely have him dancing around and finding openings in the mid-range, but you are playing the odds that his mid-range attempts will not end up being more efficient than the Suns getting more open three's or more shots at the rim. If you play defense trying to take away every single thing, you will end up not taking away anything.

Look at this Lakers fan. Is there anything more pathetic?

it's so dope to me to see a small market win.....the cherry on top is that Giannis stayed with the team that drafted him and committed to trying to win it where he was....Built a more soild team around him, by the way with Brook Lopez being the only lottery pick iirc....Now there is less pressure on him from now on

Re: NBA Finals: Milwaukee Bucks vs. Phoenix Suns, Part 4 | Bucks lead 3-2
This was one of the most enjoyable Finals in years for me. For the first time in a long time, I was happy with whichever team won. Both Milwaukee and Phoenix have had some great teams in the past come up short. With Portland out, I was rooting for teams with long title droughts to advance. Giannis played a legendary series, and it's hard to not be happy for him after previous Bucks teams performed so well in the regular season and came up short. I feel for Phoenix fans --- I was a bit of a casual Suns fan back in the late 80s and early 90s, and their fanbase deserves to finally have a title.

Not necessarily directed at you, but I wish that going forward fans can apply less focus on how likeable they believe a player is and instead focus on their game.
Sometimes a player is unlikeable for the way they play ie. Chris Paul flopping and ref whining
I'm fine with that. It's understandable. I'm more referring to fans feeling like they know these players personally and judge the entirety of that person on their media representation.

Great game and series.
But what's wrong with abc, nba, American culture in general when they don't show a wide shot of the court as the clock ticks off. Just zoomed straight in on Giannis and stayed on him for like 5 minutes. superstar infatuation...ugh. it's a team sport and it would have been nice to see the reactions of the other players.
