That certainly makes Seth Curry look like a keeper.

I want to keep him

Seth?

If we can land someone like Dame, Seth would be a great asset to trade because of our pump and dump program. LoL

But I dont mind keeping him then let him play 6th man with Embiid

Exactly. The all bench rotation killed us in games 1/5.
Doc has to bring Embiid back at the 10 min mark game 5 rather than his usual 730-8 min mark 4th quarter. Embiid had nothing left in the tank the last 2 min of the game. You can see it. Even him missing 2 free throws with Sixers down 3 with 10 seconds left. That’s fatigued

Realistically the expectation should probably be haggling over Harris/CJ deals.

Annual trade season reminder that Vin Fosh is a hack with no actual sources that makes stuff up constantly.

It's Vin Fosh. The reality is he has no idea what is happening.

It seems way too quiet, Morey is definitely in the kitchen cooking something

Draft night is when the first dominoes probably start to fall.

GS for example biggest assets are those picks...teams tend to want to pick their own players even if its just a handshake deal....

All insider started from knowing nothing. Knowing something is relative to time. While you’re reading this post he may know nothing, but after you read this post he may have already knew something.

But then.. do he know something? If he forgets about it the next minute then maybe its all just an illusion.

Can you at least keep it in the Vin Fosh thread with all his other scoops?

8-) Lets get this done and get Dame here. Embiid window is closing. He has 2 or 3 years left at MVP level. We have to maximize these few years.

We just have to keep our picks beyond 2025. Bucks just traded a haul for Jrue freaking Holiday and it was worth it. If you want to win you have to take your chances. Thats how the NBA system is built.

Three team deal with Dame coming here is very realistic. Hope thats what Morey is cooking in silence.

Jason Quick, The Athletic
McCollum likely isn’t enticing enough to pry Ben Simmons from Philadelphia, even though their salaries virtually match. Olshey is known to be close friends with Daryl Morey, his counterpart in Philadelphia, but that friendship won’t be a factor whether Morey considers a McCollum-based offer, even if the pot is sweetened with young players such as Simons or Little.

Obvious.

I wouldn't be shocked if Morey's been exploring a Kawhi or PG trade while all eyes are on Dame. I trust he'll get appropriate value for Ben.
2023-2024 Philadelphia 76ers:

Lowry/Melton/Payne
Maxey/Hield/Downtin
Oubre/Batum/Council
Harris/Covington/Martin

If they're such good friends, then Morey should know whether or not a Dame possibility even exists. The fact that we are hearing so much noise about Dame tells me Morey truly does see a path to get Dame, and Olshey hasn't put out that fire yet, so I have to imagine that bodes well.

BUT, if Olshey has told Morey it's a 0% chance, then Morey could be using all these leaks to try to raise Ben's value around the league to get a better offer.

CJM obviously isn't it. But...

You find a way to send me CJM, 2025 1st (to be used to beat the Stepian rule on the 24 and 26 PHI 1sts), another player from a 3rd team that is a starting caliber PG such as Brogdon, and young prospects that can be flipped for another stretch big like Markkanen sign and trade...

You could in theory have a way to make it work.

Brodgon/Hill/Maxey
McCollum/Curry/Joe
Green/Thybulle/draft
Harris/McDermott/Reed
Embiid/Markkanen/Howard

That's a 9 or 10 deep playoff squad.

And if there is a 2025 1st from Portland going to Philly, I mean I guess it could be worse?
