That is insane. Simmons isn't worth Bridges let alone Paul.

Well I’m sure a lot of casuals agree with you

You probably didn't watch the playoffs this year huh.

Gotta believe he is gonna be a laker. Signs for cheap and gets paid in the next Lebron movie.

Also, no way is old man Paul getting Simmons in trade

Yeah, that's why I'm on a basketball message board. Try harder. Simmons is ass.

I would be interested to see how the Bulls did with him and how the opinion of LaVine changed.

If he doesn't stay with the Suns. That's a shame.

He would've been best with GSW in 2020-2021

We were the 4 seed with Elfrid Payton as our starting point guard and getting 24 mpg. Replace that with CP3 or even an average starting point guard (ahem, Colin Sexton), and I think we're obviously a vastly improved team with a much higher ceiling.

Even with CP3, Knicks max out as a 4 seed. Paul doesnt raise the Knicks above Nets, Bucks and 76ers. Heck even to get back to 4th seed will be hard with the Hawks leveling up, Heat about to retool with a strong core.

After watching the improvements that the Thunder and Suns have made by adding Paul I have no idea how you could think that they don't get any better by replacing Elfrid Payton with Chris Paul. Thats honestly one of the more ridiculous takes I've seen on this board and if you look at my joined date, you'll see I've been around for quite a while.

We have a young and improving core. 3 picks in the Top 32. The most cap space in the league. If you are gonna say that the Hawks are leveling up and the Heat are retooling, well...then so are we!
Go Knicks!

Knicks. Sign Cp3, trade for Sexton = instant team.

But also: Boston.

Chris Paul will make the Knicks better but he wont elevate them above the Nets, Bucks and 76ers. I dont think thats a controversial statement.

Knicks got blown out by the Hawks 4-1 in the playoffs. Hawks had one of the best records in the NBA the second half of the season. Not a controversial thought to think that the Hawks are better than the Knicks.

I would guess the general consensus is that the Knicks overachieved this year. Randle got exposed in the playoffs. For next season, how would you rank Randle, Barrett, Bam and Butler?

Paul-embiid-harris seem like a perfect unit.

Curry-Booker-Simmons-Ayton
Younger, get shooting from curry and passing from simmons. Ayton doesnt demand the ball like wmbiid so he will fit better inside with simmons. Booker can still be the go to scorer who doesnt have to worry about playmaking.

I actually think Chris and Embiid together would be **** insane!!. Ambitious and never gonna happen for the Suns but if you could three-way option Ben to Portland for a package that pairs Dame with Booker.....and I would jog the couple miles naked to the local police station and force them to arrest me!!!

theres something in phx water that extends aging players careers. cp3 is not going to be able to help any other team besides phx.

He's ring chasing and will not give any discounts. It will be very expensive for any team to have him on their roster.

I'll play your game because I like ranking players but I don't see what your point is....Randle, Butler, Bam, Barrett...CP3 had a better season than all of them other than maybe Randle.
Go Knicks!

He’s buddies with lebron and they both need each other.

On topic further, he wants a bag. He’s 36, opting out his 44M player option and frankly it’s the same situation with the rockets where he ran it back and it was awful the next season signing him to a huge contract. I wouldn’t want to be the team holding the bag at the end for him

Remind me why he’d want to leave Phoenix again?
