It's always fun to keep dreaming of Giannis improving at this exponential rate, but I'm also completely resolved to the likelihood that we just witnessed peak Giannis and by extension a Top-10 Finals peak in the history of basketball according to a lot of metrics. I imagine it'll be one of those youtube videos that I watch several times every year for the rest of my life.

It’s not impossible to think he can polish his game a bit.

I think any aspect of his game that's mostly mental will improve after what he did in these playoffs. Giannis could easily improve to a 70% FT shooter if he removes that mental block. It's not like Shaq just tossing the ball up there without any rotation.

Also, if he just limits his 3 PT attempts to just 1 or 2 per game, that by itself will help improve his game overall.

Im curious if the Midds/Giannis pick n roll carries into next year or just a product of how playoffs are played.

Agree. Those are the two aspects I could imagine most reasonably improving further. Make free throws more consistently and confidently. And forget about trying to be a 3-point shooter. He's great at so many things, shooting 3's doesn't need to be one of them. He might be better off not using a chunk of his practice time on shooting 3's. Being a more confident free-throw shooter also makes it a little easier to play down low more often, including in late-game situations.

Thanks, Jeff.

This is why I don't enjoy the Teague slander. If we're grading on a curve or based on one's capabilities, he made some huge shots when we needed them. All these dudes contributed. Even Forbes had those hot moments against the Heat.

Rewatched game 5 yesterday, that's an amazing game of basketball right there. Don't want to watch game 4 yet because it's going to remind me how terrible my anxiety levels were, I could not enjoy that game at all until the very end

Also have to give props to Sigra’s prophetic signature. Something about Giannis career at this point being similar to LeBron’s run when he won back to back MVPs. This year was supposed the championship year, and it really happened. Crazy.

It can’t be overstated what winning a championship will do for the confidence of these guys, that will be the most significant improvement in the following years.

To me this Finals appearance felt like 32 year old Giannis
What I mean is, because of the injury he seemed not necessarily slower as such, but just more careful and considering his options a little better. Like he valued each possession, and finding the easiest and safest thing to do every time. Like he matured 5 years over night.
Don't know, maybe it's just my imagination.

I bet Giannis is well above 70% from the line next year. Game 6 was a litany of the most pressure filled free throws imaginable, and he HIT them time and time again. I would imagine that would shift some things around in your psyche re: any prior struggles at the line.

Couldn't hit on the road and literally every arena save for Fiserv will be counting on each shot. If he gets to 70%, it's a win.

What a great feeling heading into the new season as defending champs .Love to see how we respond to being the standard and having the target on our backs and what moves will we make to stay on top. Exciting stuff and patience has rewarded all long suffering Bucks fans.

I kinda wanna do a binge weekend or something and just rewatch the playoffs or something. Or maybe a few of the key games. Honestly it still feels weird.

It feels so unfamiliar. NBA champions, no **** way. Wow.

His routine is quicker now. You are right fans will count because now it's a thing, but he's no longer taking 13-14 seconds. Agreed 70% is a win.

Man.. Forgot about that egregious foul on giannis. That call was huge. We literally probably would have won the finals that year if it wasn't for that botched call.

I am contend with Giannis having his game 6 performance 4 games every playoff series
