It's more likely that the Lakers start THT and another non-shooting big than move LeBron and AD to PF/C

I have no clue.

Rob is trying to sabotage the Lakers (LeBron in particular) as the ultimate team Kobe sleeper agent. Nothing else makes sense.

KCP absolutely cannot be included in that Westbrook deal. His shooting and defense will be needed now, more than ever.

I actually would not mind that deal if KCP could be retained, somehow.

He has to be included for salary purposes unfortunately

Hopefully they keep their 1st. They'll need it to get another quality starter

Pelinka should get fired after this move fails

Pelinka is so terrible. Choosing westbrick over buddy would be a disaster.

If there’s in thing this team needs it’s less shooting!

Seriously imagine the playoffs. He’ll be so bad on both ends and lebron will want the ball even more in the post season so then what?

That’s the only part of the deal that I hate.

They need to get shooters and perimeter defenders ASAP or this could get ugly.

If the Lakers start the season with Westbrook at point guard and THT at shooting guard I will laugh to death.

Caruso and THT have to be moved in trades for shooters if this deal really happens.

They'd still get Kuzma/Harrell in this deal I think. Then Dennis/KCP/22 to Washington

JulesWinnfield wrote:The storylines in a Brooklyn/Lakers potential finals would be more plentiful than any matchup we have ever seen, and I can’t even entertain another one rivaling it. NY market and LA market. Lebron and Durant. Durant playing with Lebrons ex sidekick and Lebron playing with Durants ex sidekick. All of the Westbrook/KD tension. All the Lebron and Kyrie tension. Oh and Anthony Davis and James Harden are also in this series, two of the most amazing basketball players we’ve pretty much ever seen, but there’s so much else to talk about that they’re basically afterthoughts (at least in terms of storyline). Maybe we talk about Harden in the context of the old OKC big three all being in this matchup, yet another storyline in a series that almost has too many of them. Like there is so much here it’s absurd.

Nothing is guaranteed, both have to stay healthy, both have to click. But the intrigue level in this series would be off the freaking charts

Easily the most anticipated finals matchup ever if it was looming during the playoffs.

So many damn storylines.

I hope this trade goes down just to fuel that hypothetical finals matchup.

Not necessarily.

Their perimeter defense is also in need.

If the Lakers are sending out the 22nd pick in that Westbrook trade, they absolutely have to get back Washington’s 15th pick.

An absolute must.

apparently bringing buddy hiled and westbrook may be lakers plan

westbrook/caruso
caruso/wesley
hield/lebron
lebron/morris
davis/gasol

is about the best i think lakers can do if they make both of those moves come playoff time
