Stephen Jackson couldn't last long enough to hand out his bobblehead. Not sure I wanted it anyway. I am still pissed I didn't get the Miles Plumlee toothbrush holder though, I'd still be using that today, of that I'm sure. Remembering that we gave Plumlee 4 year 52 million dollar contract makes this championship all the sweeter though, yeah you need health, and luck. But there was so much self sabotage, its incredible how quickly all that turned.

Have said this before but it's absolutely wild in hindsight that Jax only played 26 games for us. Feels like he was here for years.

Duncan Robinson's podcast is good btw. It's right up there with JJ Redick's IMO. Interview with Bobby below.

I actually had to Google (Me Slime) that to believe it, felt like he was here for 200+ games. Those 26 games:

13.9 ppg per 36 @ .459 TS and .278 from 3. Quite far, we've come.

Hambone had Steph Curry available for Bogut but insisted on Captain Jack. So GSW would only do a Monta deal (maybe).

Not sure what happened but could've should've would've been for Curry, no matter what Bob Myers says.

Jackson is salty. Always hating on the Bucks. He'll never change.

SJax's introductory press conference might be the low point of my Bucks fandom. Hambone knew it was a disaster but smiled for the cameras nonetheless.

Some of the championship stuff I ordered was just delivered. Sweet. It's like reliving it again.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Sjax was right to be salty though tbf. If I was a NBA player and I got drafted by the Bucks of that time I'd throw a fit.

Man, this thread is like a warm blanket. I don't want to forget what this feels like, especially when in the depths of whatever comes next season (because we all know we'll have plenty of ups and downs ahead)

Yeah man, I became a Bucks fan around ‘95, and its been a sheet storm ever since. But the high of beating the Suns in game 7 for the title… somehow made the odyssey worth it. And I don’t really need a second one. I picked the 2nd worst franchise in the nba, hitched my time and heart to them, and 27 years later it paid off and was incredible.

The one year removed FTD team who was a healthy Andrew Bogut away from going further in the playoffs?

That's kind of pushing it. John Salmons regressed & was outgoing to Sacramento in the deal that brought him from Charlotte to Milwaukee.

He came in with a stupid attitude & not committed to putting in the work. Instead he was partying & scrubbing it up. I'd say that he was very responsible for Brandon Jennings tanking his playing career. BJ picked up those sloppy habits, thinking Jax is a bonafide vet from the hood who played for Popovich. That man was on his way out of the league & now BJ is too.

Giannis was drafted two years later, Middleton dealt for. Look where they are. They played under the same GM, with Larry Drew & Jason Kidd before Bud took over. With Herb Kohl running things to start.

I wonder if we will follow last year's strategy and take it easy in the regular season, or we'll carry the momentum from the Finals and run through the League for a 65W season next year...

1.) Jrue/Khris being respected, doesn't make them part of a super team.
2.) Which is it? Are we a superteam or did we win because of injuries?
3.) What pissed me off the most, is this was unprovoked. Nobody even asked him about Milwaukee, which is an entirely different bone to pick. Y'all on a music station with a former NBA basketball player a week after the title and don't even have a question prepared about the champs? I digress......he showed his media bias by hoping LA gets two more Allstars and then bashing Milwaukee.

The high from this title will never go away, but now I really want to win another with a healthy Nets team and beat LA in the finals just to shut these fools up. Hopefully, we make the right moves this offseason and Nwora develops into a key player for this team.

You let Stephen Jackson piss you off? Why do so many people claim the media is so dumb but then get all bent out of shape when they talk bad about your favorite team?

Something in between I would imagine, unless one or two of the young players breaks out and allows for the vets to not play a ton of minutes chasing records. Maybe like a 57-25 record.

Sent from my LM-K500 using RealGM mobile app
"Wes, Hill, Ibaka, Allen, Nwora, Brook, Pat, Ingles, Khris are all slow-mo, injury prone ... a sandcastle waiting for playoff wave to get wrecked. A castle with no long-range archers... is destined to fall. That is all I have to say."-- FOTIS
