SAS knows his stuff, and has his sources..I’m not blowing it off what he says, and I still believe KD was coming to the knicks pre injury, and when he got hurt Dolan was hesitant, and Kyrie convinced him to change his mind..with that being said, dame wanting the Knicks as his #1 option would immediately drive down the price of what the Knicks have to offer..we will see very soon in free agency and how the Knicks respond to determine if the Dame stuff is real

Right now the Knicks don't possess the following:

A starting NBA PG
A starting NBA wing
A real backup Center

And honestly, there is probably an argument for another veteran wing, but that's less likely.
Oh, and Vildoza is unproven running the NBA point, McBride is rookie and IQ isn't a PG. But we can assume one of those are the backup PG.

I have 6 names on my list that are realistic:
Lonzo, Lowry, Powell, Trent (via FA) and Sexton, CJ (gettable via trade)

Not a top tier contender and Klay hasnt played in 2 seasons AND has had the two Worst injuries a basketball player can have.

He’s gotta:

1. Be good enough or close enough to what he used to be.
2. Not fall apart

It all makes sense now. Get ready for dame time

Actually, IF this turns out to be true a lot of things really do start to make sense.

Clearing more cap space, gaining a future pick (as a trade asset) instead of using it at #19, etc. Also, rumored names such as Melo, Oubre, etc. could all be Dame's choices. We'll soon see...
