Gonna need shooting if either or both Herro and Duncan are shipped off.

Monk as a cheap option would be a solid signing.

There is an obvious beef between Woj and Heat

Bouknight snatched his spot right up.

I think we should shoot for Monk. Put him at PF.

Pssst cmon now Dom. Easy stretch 5. Especially based off what our summer league lineup is going to look like without Achuiwa.

I'm not gonna cap....I think when all is said and done, I'm going to end up disappointed with free agency and the Heat is going to end up broke and without a title for next few years.

The team who just won the title had a 31 year old, a 33 year old and 36 year old in their starting lineup. Middleton will be 30 in less than two weeks too.

I've advocated for DeRozan before but I'm not sure I'd want to add him to this team if we're getting a guy in Lowry who is better at one of the things DD does best, i.e. playmake with the ball in his hands. With Butler/Lowry/Bam we're gonna need guys who can impact the game offball and that's not DD's forte -- nor is defense -- and I'm still holding out a degree of hope for a healthy Dipo at some point. Honestly think either Duncan or Ball would work better, Batum as well. Plus there's Herro's minutes to consider (assuming he isn't going anywhere)

And if it's between acquiring DD or signing a Theis/Portis big, I'd prefer the latter

Precious to Toronto would be a big win for the Raps.

Better hope Bam turns into Giannis and every other team gets hurt.

This about sums up our quest to continue the inability to completely reset, and continue trying to do a soft rebuild every 3-4 years by acquiring old vets. Its disappointing really, best case scenario is we get to the finals in the East were obviously not winning, worst case we end up getting wrecked again and we now own all these large old contracts, jimmy gets upset and wants out, we send him to his team of preference and we end up were we should have been with picks and young players. Except those same picks and young players are going to be flipped to have somebody take on Lowrys contract, and whatever old geezer we still have around.

For the assets that we have to play with I'm saying beggars can't be choosers so give me Lowry and give me DeRozan with his 21.6 PPG and we will make it work.
