Why are the US and Canada two of the best teams at women's soccer? The soccer mad European and South American teams aren't interested in funding their girls so they can win major international events like this?

Many Int'l teams are, they playtogether more consistently. However the talent is what separates the men from the boys, USAB has won 4 consecutive Olympic Gold medals is proof of that.
