Is Boston just going to send 10 players for Summer League? I don't know what the minimum amount is? Thanks

Would be a much more interesting group were it not for the presence of Carsen Edwards. Going to be hard to get anyone else involved if he's taking 20 shots a game on quick transition 3s. And he's the next guy on the chopping block if/when they sign a veteran, so he knows he has to shoot as much as possible to give himself a chance.

Now let's just add Nigel Hayes and Bruno Fernando to the roster. Then we'll be summer league champs for sure :)

I know, I just wish they would waive him, buy him out or include him in a trade as filler. Good college player and seems like a nice kid but he just doesn't belong in the NBA - unless it's on a really bad team that's rebuilding so they've got nothing to lose by taking a flier on him. That's not the case for us.

It would suck if we have to give Madar a 2-way contract or send him back to Israel, or we have to cut Kris Dunn, or we choose to not sign Lou Williams or we don't offer Nigel Hayes a contract or Hauser is clearly better but we stash him on the g-league team - just because we don't have an available roster spot because Edwards is taking that spot up..

Bottom line, we should try and field the best 15 man roster possible.

Yes, 100%.

And once the Thompson trade goes through, remove 1 of the dudes on our roster no one has ever heard of (like Aric Holman) and add Bruno Fernando on there. That trade should go through on 8/6 and our first summer league game isn't until 8/8. And just waive Edwards.

Madar, Pritchard, Begarin, Hayes, Fernando, Nesmith, Langford, Auguste, Hauser. These are the guys I want to see - as many mins as possible for these 9..

Our squad should be pretty strong I’m expecting rome payton and Aaron to flat out dominate.

Going to see the unveiling of Yam!

That is definitely the #1 thing I’m excited to see especially considering he’s deciding to stay and play here. He seems hyped for the challenge I think he’ll be a contributor his defense seems very strong.

Probably too old and overqualified. I want him or Jabari on our actual roster this year though.

We can have as many players as we want on the Summer League. I've never seen a limit.
I do know that the Training Camp limit is 20 players.

This is Edwards' Swan Song; and everyone else, that needs to shine.
Let's see as many as we can.

We've got Zach Auguste on our summer league roster and he's 28. Hayes is 26.

My fault if I implied there is an age limit. I know there isn’t (wasn’t supercool Beasley in it last summer?).

I don’t know anything about Auguste. I hope Nigel Hayes signs on with us if we’re not keeping Jabari.

Psyched Begarin has joined the SL team!
