There is a 0% chance OG can be a primary creator. This guy is out to lunch.

There are at least 5 players on that list that won't be on the roster.

Love og, he legitimately has a chance to become the best 3&D player in the league sooner rather than later. But he has a big man's handle, he's not the type of player to initiate his own buckets, especially not off the dribble. I can't see him improving his handle that drastically.

Who's a better 3&D player than him right now?

I see OG as the new Ron Artest.

There is talk on Dallas CBA site that a buyout is being worked on if TO cannot find a deal. Dallas would pay Dragic approx 5 mil and Dragic would take 3 mil hit thus giving Raps 8 mil back in a buyout. As Raps are very close to the tax, this would be inviting and could allow them to sign 2 players they otherwise could not and/or have some room at deadline if necessary. It is also possible Birch deal could be backloaded saving some cap up front.

Sounds like a terrible idea. Then Dallas gets to sign a bought out Dragic without the cost of a player from their roster. Dragic could be signed back on a contract that makes him whole and Raps are out what the buyout cost is. No thanks.
Everybody is losing their freaking minds. Nutbars and wingnuts have infested this forum. We've become a public lavatory without cleaning staff.

I can almost guarantee Masai will not buy out Dragic. He's a solid player and has good value around the league. Either we trade him now or wait until the deadline. He fits our team anyways.

Remember Masai is an asset management freak and will always be seeking value

Players and agents just have so much power.. especially vets. Grabbing a 1st + maybe another piece from MIA for the cost of a buyout might be worth it to Masai

Man that sucks. Sorta liked him over Chamapagnie

Whats his game like?

Moses Wright won the ACC player of the year beating out Champagnie. Better shooter than Champagnie right now but 2 years older, i believe. Champagnie was the best rebounder in that conference though.

Correct they will not buy out Dragic and I suspect he won't fetch assets now either. Nurse will be ecstatic to have a veteran Fred-Dragic option in the backcourt until at least the deadline. This will make for a very young but strong bench.

Dragic is worth a first round pick from a contender.
