I guess I'm failing to see how the Bucks aren't a better overall team next season. And that's just with things staying as they are now, if some guys can continue to develop/return to form, we're in a much better place.

There is a role for George Hill in the NBA. But the issue is that he's right on that edge of a guy who might play ok in short minutes one night, and the next night be invisible on the court.

I use the Ersan term, because I loved the guy. But it was clear that we got every last ounce from him during that 2018-2019 season. By the time he returned the next season, he wasn't a guy you could rely on night in, night out.

Just feel like we really needed to do better somewhere in this offseason process. And Hill and PJ are related. If you don't lose PJ, the need for consistent competency from Hill is lessened.

Bucks are going to need more backcourt insurance as relying on Donte's healthy return and George Hill being healthy/effective are two tenuous situations. I don't see Merrill being a contributor this year, I'd hope Bucks cut him and get Dante Exum or Avery Bradley. Not sure how much of a shot we have at them with what we have left though. Diallo is another decent option, but not a ballhandler.

Frank had a tweet that Sam’s contract’s guarantee (1.5 million) date is this weekend. He can meet with the Bucks and push it back, but don’t be surprised if he is waived and possibly converted to a 2 way before the date arrives.

This could have been a better offseason, but I have no doubt that Bucks have a (slightly) better team than the one that won a championship.

- DDV will be replacing Tucker in the starting lineup
- I have more faith in Hill than I had in Teague
- I have more hope for Nwora than I have for Forbes
- Pat and Portis are still here

The argument that DDV and Nwora "replace" PJ and Forbes could be flawed since both were already Milwaukee players. I get it and as I said Bucks could have done better. You can't deny though that the Top 9 that won it all is getting better with DDV/Hill/Nwora instead of PJ/Teague/Forbes. On top of that you have Hood and Semi as low key additions that might or might not pan out.

I also get that this is an exciting period of the season where fans wait for something big, but you should all understand that this ship has sailed. Bucks are set for the next 2-3 seasons and will only twist the edges without huge expends since they have already invested a ton of money. Good luck digesting this. Remember we are still the champs!

Wowzers. Grayson adds toughness and 3s but also max punch ability. Don’t hate this at all.

I argued for it last week, but Grayson to the Bucks seemed like an obvious fit.

The Bucks now have their DDV insurance and I will stop complaining

I dislike Allen very much, especially from the Duke days. Rather have a bag of garbage on the court than him.

I was in on the Merrill bandwagon, but can't hate this move. Got someone that can come in right away and play and also has defense.

He's a mini PJ Tucker. You love this guy only on your team.

Yeah, not really a fan of him personally, but I'm sure I'll grow to love him as a Buck player. And his girlfriend is a sexy soccer player 8-)
