Bacon did what he could, was the only Magician to play in all 72 games and started a team high 50 games.
Still: When your leading starter has a PER below 10, he does need to be waived.

Bye bye Bacon.
I appreciated his availability, but not his shooting %'s.

His eFG% was the 20th "best" of all Magicians last year at 44.3%. Given that a roster usually has 14 players, being in 20th place is not very good.

I don't know why we waited so long? Surely he would've preferred to have been able to try to find a new home earlier in free agency.
"Xatticus has always been, in my humble opinion best poster here. Should write articles or something."

I ordered a side of hash browns with that. Disappointed.

I suspect he was informed when he was airing his grievances on instagram last week. Surely his agent could have conveyed that information to perspective teams.

I wish there weren't three currently rostered players that finished below him...

I mean he played his role... what else can he do. Time to move on. If he gets another NBA gig then it means someone can use his akillset.

Re: Bacon appreciation thread
He was the only player to really be available every game. I didn't hate him like most here did though and appreciate his time here.
Hope he finds a home on a team. Could be a decent bench piece for the right team.

Re: Bacon appreciation thread
Whatever. He was not atrocious but he was an evidence of why the Magic needed this deep rebuilt.
He made me think of Clifford, so in some point I'm glad he's gone.

Wait, Bacon is only a 4 yr vet? I thought he must have more than 6 yrs already?
Anyhoo all i can say is... this is the thread where the new legendary Magic killet is born. Bacon is circling the calendar every time he faces the Magic.
