KZ was a whiff. It’s cool. Win some and lose some.

KZ blowing layups he probably could just as easily be dunking
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

Could we get a 2nd for KZ? He might legit be the worst player in the NBA.

Bruhs who is this Nembhard fellow? Very explosive, has handles, and is shooting lights out.

Marcus Garrett looks legit ready to play NBA ball tomorrow. Elite defense and capable enough offense, just needs to work on consistency with his shot but he's already got it functional.

Lil deeky Jarreau also looks lik a good bet to me, great size for a PG, great handle, good passing and playing hard. .

About KZ - Don't care that he's missing shots - I like him being aggressive. Some shots didn't fall for him but it's make or break time..he has to keep shooting.

3 more games to go - I think Marcus Garrett got a 2 way contract on lock and the other contract is up for grabs: Lil deeky is my guy but R.J. Nembhard had a great scoring game and Javonte Smart also showing something.

Hi. I am really enjoying our Summer League team.

I mostly agree. I'd sign Garrett to a two-way, but I'm not sure who should get the second one.

Here are my notes:

Omer Yurtseven (77) - 23 year old with international experience. Great find. Could play himself onto team, but otherwise he should play at Sioux Falls.

Micah Potter (65) - After a bonehead play to open against the Nuggets, Potter demonstrated a pretty good 3 pt shot and an impressive awareness around the rim. Not bad at all. Move him to Sioux Falls.

3 guards all 22 years old:
Marcus Garrett (51) - Feisty goes to rim, hits 3s, has good potential. Two-Way.
Javonte Smart ( 50) - I liked his defensive play. Sioux Falls.
Nembhard (59) - Another player we can develop, but our team also has serious deficiencies in other areas. Sioux Falls.

Strus has been good. That game against Golden State was big fun. When Yurtseven didn’t hit, Strus did. Dru Smith had some good moments against the Lakers. Some of the other guys looked good too, but that’s who I’ve liked.

Anyway, I'm real excited about these guys, though when I see guys like Kuminga, Moody, & Suggs, I can't help but admire their play. Some of them are going to be *really* good, while if any of these guys is able to become a bench rotational player, it is a great success. Funny.

I like Louis King whose QO was not picked up by the Kings. Just turned 22. Mudiay (on the Trailblazers) is also a free agent. What a fall... I like Mudiay's defense, and his value is rock bottom.

I don't really like those 2, but i do wonder if there's a good PF somewhere on a different team's roster since our summer league team has no PFs at all. Maybe we can steal some unsigned kid that is balling out.

Are you sure Yurts is back? I was expecting to see Micah Porter at the 5.

Grizzlies are a good team: G - Ziaire Williams, G - John Konchar, F - Desmond Bane, F- Xavier Tillman, C - Killian Tillie

Bane and the Tillie/TIllman frontcourt are strong for the summer league. Heat will need to play their asses off.

King:

He has a two-way with the Kings. Cheap bench piece who can still develop.

I didn't think we would start this bad. Man... Not contesting shots, leaving players open in the corner and under the basket. 2 of 13 from beyond the arc. Jarreau has good hands though.

Strus gets us back into the game, and we get some intensive defense, but then Williams hits a wide-open 3. WTF, Miami. Play defense, especially if your offense is such crap.

Could have been worse. So far my impression is our defense isn't very good, the offense isn't great. We aren't moving the ball well and are watching Memphis play sometimes.

They fight back so hard and then keep leaving guys open in the corner for a 3.
