Cole slander is getting a bit out of hand today. He played like ****. He has a very specific role I think he can excel at which is a microwave scorer but obviously isn't a PG. By all accounts he's a great teammate too so whatever they do off the court doesn't matter at all. Not like they're all sniffing coke and shooting guns.

Janis Timma might be though.

RJ seemed quite rusty, outside of a few moments where he looked fluid taking it to the basket. A nice reverse and a few other drives looked good. Im hoping its just a rust thing. His handle and pass looked very loose today.

Yeah, he looked rusty. He’s going to have to learn to be less turnover prone and be able to better utilize his athleticism on defense.

RJ looks good when he's sure of what he wants to do. A few times he was open and took weird jumpers or attempted really tough passes. If it slows down for him he'll be much more consistent.

I want to see a complete body of work before the crazy takes man....i mean Franz could come out next game and drop 20-25 then what are you going to say? Suggs could have a bad game next game, what are you going to say then? Bust? Don't get too high or too low because you can't really take too much from summer league because it's too volatile and unorganized for the most part....I mean did you see the bare bones offense we were running tonight?

I don't really look at the stats, i look at the way they're playing...Did Suggs get sped up? no, did Wagner? yeah....i need to see different situations, how will Suggs handle getting trapped.....how will he handle getting pressured....how will we as a team handle a zone? will we fall apart? To me that's more important than stats

Seriously? What was the context? Was it maybe one of those dirty "you a bad mofo" looks or was he legit annoyed?

Cole needs to be put back in his box. It really irked me when Suggs was on fire and asked for the ball and Cole just waived him off to take it himself and throw up a brick. I feel hes been talking a lot of game the last few days and has tried to be the alpha of the group and the more experienced guy up until now, so its maybe a bit of an ego hit for him to be somewhat exposed on the court. We need Jamahl to be the father figure here a bit.

Can he handle the rock as a wing though? I feel like that is almost a prerequisite if you're going to be anything more than 'a guy' on offense. I just don't love his ceiling for the 8th pick. I hope you're right about his condition because the lack of quickness is my first concern from what we saw.

Whoa just watched the highlights. Ugh that was quite promising from Suggs lol. He said he was a winner and he made winning plays. Guard situation needs to be sorted out eventually...all these guys can't play together...but that's for a later date. I am just going enjoy possibly having a stud on the team again. Fingers crossed.
