Idk brah seems like some get off my lawn old man stuff lol.

Also it was post draft night so he was def still in NY and was at the arena with them when they got drafted, so he wanted to party with them afterwards.. while it's offseason.. for a big occasion... don't see an issue at all?

Seriously? What was the context? Was it maybe one of those dirty "you a bad mofo" looks or was he legit annoyed?

Cole needs to be put back in his box. It really irked me when Suggs was on fire and asked for the ball and Cole just waived him off to take it himself and throw up a brick. I feel hes been talking a lot of game the last few days and has tried to be the alpha of the group and the more experienced guy up until now, so its maybe a bit of an ego hit for him to be somewhat exposed on the court. We need Jamahl to be the father figure here a bit.

I didnt like when i saw Cole turn up to the airport with a limo full of women and booze the day these guys got drafted
. Not the vibe i want to set around the team.

Wait what??

He wanted Suggs to join him at the club. There were hot women and champagne.

Idk why this is a big deal lol

well yeah but.. i mean seriously? lol

They can't party?

Sure but right when they literally land to their new home and publicize it?

It was draft night. Unless there was another video once they got to Orlando too, but the one i saw was on draft night which was exactly what you described - limo with his friends and women in it.

Well, that's different than picking them up from the airport with what sounded like strippers

Carry on young men. Carry on

He sounds like a guy who has been prepping for this his entire life. At the very least, he's going to be a solid pro.

Basketball players are people too, they can't always be on the clock....also cole anthony is how old again? you can't expect a 21 year old to act like a 15 year veteran....trust me man when i was 21......never mind

He's going to bully some guys for sure. Dude is jacked and athletic as hell.

Yeah, he's got a good frame to build on....i'm just glad that it checked out....when i was watching detroit i thought cade is definitely not 6'8 and bouknight's frame just looks frail/small

On the summer league roster, Cade's official height is listed at 6'6"

Deleted, what was sit?

ahhhh man, hahaha.

it was a video of Cole's face after the game looking like he wanted to fight Suggs.

I saw it and didn't think that. He did look like he just had a miserable game though.

Suggs can't be out chasing girls, he's with Hailey Van Lith.

Was it the one where they were shaking hands? Cole looked more like frightened or threatened haha

it reminded me of the video/gif/meme of Westbrook eying Durant's MVP trophy, lol.

actually.. i had the same understabding as thelead. I thought cole rolled up to then like.those in music videos with him wearing his bling, champaigne and coke with scantily clad strippers on each arm...

oh and riding a souped up limo with 24 inch rims.

Man... I wonder if that is why Detroit was reportedly not sold on him until the day before the draft. If that was common knowledge, I would imagine that it would have changed a lot of minds. He was already seen as somewhat limited athletically.

thelead wrote:Can he handle the rock as a wing though? I feel like that is almost a prerequisite if you're going to be anything more than 'a guy' on offense. I just don't love his ceiling for the 8th pick. I hope you're right about his condition because the lack of quickness is my first concern from what we saw.

Not really, but he does some other things which can mitigate some of that.

I think Wagner’s most realistic outcome is a 3&D wing who provides more value compared to your typical 3&D wing in three ways.

1. By being much bigger than most 3&D guys. This theoretically will allow him to defend more players.

2. By being a plus passer who will always keep the ball moving offensively. A lot of 3&D guys are pretty much camp in the corner and wait for a catch and shoot and that’s it. Wagner can pass on the move off a close out (he did it tonight and found an open teammate for a made 3) and potentially do some positive things as a passer from from the elbows as well.

3. By being a great cutter. Wagner got himself an uncontested dunk tonight on a perfectly timed cut. That’s not something a lot of 3&D guys do.

He’s *probably* a role player offensively, but that doesn’t mean he’ll be a one-trick pony offensively either. In theory he’ll be able to do 4-5 things at an acceptable to very good level offensively.
