It feels like Williams is just a step slow at everything he does on the basketball court. Kind of getting Stanley Johnson vibes from him. He looks the part, but he's not getting much done.

Yeah. I don't think he is ever going to be a lightning quick kinda guy, and that's fine, but he is slow in his movements. Almost indecisive like he's trying to think everything through instead of just reacting by feel.

Force and energy is a good diagnosis. He needs to finish more plays on both ends.

All Summer League games are boring. It's just when certain individual players have hot games is when it's somewhat entertaining. But in terms of basketball play, it's always been crappy quality.

Pat was considered a bit of a reach when we picked him. I wonder where he'd have gone this year had he stayed in college for one more season. It wasn't a very deep draft, but I've always been skeptical of his prospects as a star. I'm feeling even more skeptical right now.

I wonder why we are starting Jerome Robinson. He's played enough NBA minutes where we should have a decent amount of intel on him. We also have a lot depth at the spots he could play. We should be giving Ethan Thompson (who we signed to an Exhibit-10 deal) minutes over him, IMO. Robinson seems extremely unlikely to have a chance to make the roster given our needs.

It's valid to be sceptical as to whether he will ever be a star, but I'm personally giving him until his 3rd season to make a clear evaluation on him, just because he is still so young and that it takes several seasons for players to put it together, even eventual stars.
