I don't think the Celtics will be competing for anything this season. My guess is they try to offload Horford for expiring contracts and even give up a pick (or picks) to do so.

Pretty sure Bill Simmons will have a meltdown, and it will be glorious.

For the first time since 1999, there will be 0 active players on the roster that were part of previous San Antonio title runs with Mills going to Brooklyn.

Murray/Forbes
White/Walker/Primo
Johnson/McDermott/Vassell/Weiskamp
Samanic/Young/Aminu
Poetl/Landale/Collins

Team USA Men’s Basketball might make him look bad today. What’s so funny is he signed his contract so my man can go out there and have like zero points and one rebound! The ironic part is this guy Jock is playing against his future coach, Coach Pop.
Bye bye Beal.

If they did all this because a they wanted to make a run at Beal. That's either tampering cuz they have tatum giving them garuntees or stupid because Tatum is giving them garuntees that he doesn't have from Beal.

Solid for the Kings, IMO. Kings re-sign Richaun Holmes to four-year, $55 million contract.

Ouch. Bucks traded Sam Merrill and 2 future 2nds for my least favorite player (check that - my formerly least favorite player) - Grayson Allen. That feels like a... kick in the nuts.

Best line on the Bucks board: "He's basically better than PJ because while PJ will threaten to punch your nuts in, Grayson will actually do it."

If you're looking for that skillset, shoot, Isaac Bonga is available. Shoot, he's so good at it he can do it by accident.

Agree or disagree, I was perplexed by the Daniel Theiss contract, and not sure about that Jarrett Allen whopper contract….but he could be a monster when he fills-out.

I think the Jarrett Allen contract was perfectly reasonable, tbh. And the Theiss contract wasn't big enough to complain about. I think the writer was given a subject to write about and really couldn't find good examples, but they went ahead with it anyway.

Agreed on the Allen contract he is a very solid player it wasn't out of the range. The key will be if he and Mobley can play together - if so, it is a steal as they will have a very solid FC (Allen, Nance & Mobley) to go along with their young guards. But... it is a big if, IMO.

To me, this is the one place that Bertans would fit. He could slide right in at SF with the help defense behind him. But, they don't have anything we want and there is no need to make them suddenly better. Now, if Love was on the last year of his deal and their was another contract we wanted to move...

I can't wait to see how Schroder works out in Boston. You know he will be trying to make back that $80 mil he left on the table.
Can't say I do. Who else gonna shoot?
