lets not fix what's not broken by trying to get Yurt to cover the 3pt line. let the man do what he does.

We have been wondering what will we do at the 4… i think Yurtseven has anawered that.. he plays a stretch 5 and Bam goes to traditional 4. Pj tucker can play the 3 and 4.. … we need to scout a 3 and d point guard

Crown Adam Simon. Strus and Yurt some hoopers.

Wow.

The team has some major issues, especially guarding the perimeter, but they have an edge to them. Credit to them for believing in their game.

Yurtgod and Strus just put on a show.

Yurt with 23pts, 11rbs, 1ast, 1stl, 4blk, 0 TO's, 10/19fg, 1/6 3fg, 2/2 ft in 33mins.
Strus with 32pts, 9rbs, 1ast, 1stl, 5 TO's, 9/22fg, 7/17 3fg, 7/9ft in 37mins. Plus a dope front on trey game winner.

Even Deeky and Garrett with solid games too:

Jarreau: 14pts, 7rbs, 10ast, 2stl, 4 TO's, 4/11fg, 0/3 3fg, 6/8ft in 31mins
Garrett: 13pts, 8rbs, 1ast, 1blk, 2 TO's, 6/11fg, 1/4 3fg in 31 mins.

I thought Jarreau was pretty good. He made some damn fine plays, especially on defense. I only wish he could shoot from range better. I'm still not sold on him for the 2-way contract but there are more games.

I hated playing him when UCF took on Houston. He is very determined.

Azubuike looks like oversized younger bro of Millsap. Weirding me out.

Our first bad game today. Perhaps the guys are getting a bit worn down after playing in both SL’s, but certainly look a bit off today.

Okpala again invisible. Sigh.

Azubuike thoroughly dominated in the second half.

Not sure what to make of the game. Heat didn't really play to win. Garrett was the only player in the plus column, mostly because his 7 minutes were in the first quarter. Yurtseven and Strus fell from their airy heights. Jarreau had some poor turnovers. Okpala hopeless on offense. Aside from Dru Smith, the bench was 4-19 from the field, including 0-2 from beyond the arc (both attempts by Smart). Smith made 7 points in 20 minutes on 3-6 shooting (1-2 from beyond the arc).

Overall, though, it was an atrocious game for Miami, and the players looked awful, especially Okpala who seemingly has no confidence to shoot. By now he should be able to make a layup and have a league-average 3-pt shot. Instead it's 4 on 5 everytime we play him when we attack. Gross.

…from our summer league there’s only two Players that would make an nba roster and thats strus and yurtseven… and i think strus is way ahead of omer… i watched the last game… yurtseven can get lost at times .. like a skinny version of brook lopez… i think he needs to put on 15 lbs of muscle… he was getting bullied last game by azubuike

Is Olynyk a good comparison for Yurtseven?

Probably tho i hope we can get more than that from him.. if he can develop into a real player… like an efficient 14 pts and 7 rebounds, maybe shoot 38% from 3… then we got what we needed from an undrafted player..

I'm pretty confident Omer can be a much better rebounder and shot blocker.

It's yet to be seen if he can be a better overall defender, on offense they might be similar.
