Got an mRNA booster yesterday (immunocompromised) and it is kicking my ass. First shot was mostly just a sore arm, second made me feel sluggish, but this one has me out sick today. 10/10 would recommend (sincerely).

Anyone been to Mission BBQ? I'll be right by one later and thinking of stopping in
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

When'd you get #2 if you don't mind me asking? Purely curious and do not have a follow-up in mind.

I've been to the one on Hwy 100 in West Allis, twice. First time was really really good, the second time was just alright. I think I got the meat sampler twice and the potatoes. I remember the sausage being the best thing both times.

Thanks. That's the one I'll be near later today.

Mine is next week Wed. I had essentially no reaction to either of the first 2 (my 2nd shot was on 4/2).

They're banning the backbone of their business? Seems like a funny way to raise funding.

They should've just created an Onlyfans Red and moved all those accts over there while promoting some of the bigger non-sexual accounts on the main site.

Oh Yes!
Stop in! I love it! Ribs are fall off the bone and I do enjoy the variety of sauces. Even no sauce is still tasty. Sides are great and other meats are top, as well. Like better than Famous Daves.

There's non-sexual OnlyFans accounts? News to me.

My situation is particularly weird.
Shot 1 was Moderna in mid March. Shot 2 was the second week of April and was J&J due to concerns I might be allergic to some of the components in the mRNA vaccines. My doctors ended up less worried about the allergic reaction because it was so mild, and after a lot of discussion gave me a favorable interpretation of the absolutely ludicrous CDC guidance to not give boosters to J&J shot recipients.
So yeah, Moderna (March), J&J (April), Moderna (yesterday).
Okay, I need to get this rant out. The CDC is putting a whole bunch of immunocompromised people in an impossible position, denying J&J recipients a critically valuable booster due to "lack of data" which is just nonsense. If the vaccines weren't mutually intelligible, the guidance wouldn't have been to give J&J to people that had an allergic reaction on mRNA dose number 1. Add it to the pile of the CDC's decision-making failures that have caused real harm during the pandemic. This situation just sores over my relatively high "is it okay to lie" hurdle. Still, I'm glad I wasn't put in that position given the small but real chance of a bad allergic reaction (it was thankfully very mild this time around).

Thinking about getting an IR sauna...trying to decide if I can justify over $2k on one and if I will use it enough. Anyone venture down this road?

I don't have a personal one, but if you can afford it and have the space, I say do it. I love the sauna so much and there's many benefits to help fight disease and increase the longevity of your life.

My daughter (12, immunocompromised) got the Pfizer booster yesterday. She is wiped out today, chills last night. Hope it goes away quickly for both of you.

Grew up with a sauna. Used it at least weekly, sometimes more. Did not use during weather extremes (too much wood to heat, or too hot to cool down).
Have never been in an IR version but if I was putting in a non-traditional sauna, it would be an electric model so you can at least get steam.
Check out The Sauna Guys.
