he can still get A LOT better once he learns the cheat codes being mentored by Kyrie, Harden and KD.
All the scouting in the world and NOTHING ABOUT HIS STATS AT LSU seemed to matter….
I saw his averages and assumed he’s a guy that could step in as a backup to a player like Bradley Beal. Day one. All those points as a freshman?
Similarly, Sharife Cooper with prodigious assists…
Who needs scouts?

Foxes and hedgehogs.
Scouts are hedgehogs, so they can be victim of powerful biases. For instance, their FO maybe prioritizing some metrics that only they have access to. They also have their career on the line so they may lean towards BPA, Those teams who drafts picks high on the draft are victims of this.
Average joe on realgm who loves the game, knows the trend, knows some stats also can change his mind more often than a scout. Discussions on forums where you have hundred guys who talks about the draft and if you have an open mind could also “bovine guess” your way closer to accuracy.
You live long enough and done stuffs in life, you’ll soon realize that everyone dont really know what they’re doing. Or they think they know but they dont really know.
A universe of unknown, only a dust of known. We’re really all just guessing.
