He pretty much summed everything i was saying about Barnes.
He is another draft gimmick "6'9 ballhandler, playmaker" except, he is not ballhandler, at least not good one and he is passer, not playmaker.
And guy can't shoot.
Gordon is pretty much target comparison with him. Willing passer, but not particularly useful skil to implement into good offense because when he has ball and stands 10 feet from rim, he is not treat to do anything but put his head down and go for rim, and against most teams it won't work.

And when Indiana's Chris Duarte or Washington's Corey Kispert wins the rookie of the year, then what. Does that make them the next Carter-Williams?
p.s. Watching Şengün pray to the ball before each free-throw is priceless.

Cam Thomas....the guy just knows how to score. Wish we could have gotten him (I do not base that upon his summer league performance only)drsd wrote:Magicfanatic82 wrote:Since they will be forever linked, I thought this was funny.

“Just missed the cut: Dennis Schroeder, Marcus Smart, Reggie Jackson, Jalen Suggs, John Wall”

Suggs is on the radar:“Just missed the cut: Dennis Schroeder, Marcus Smart, Reggie Jackson, Jalen Suggs, John Wall”
Likely not making the list due to no true NBA tape.
Here is the real question? Where does he finish the season on a list like this?

He ends the season on a tier with other young PG’s like Fox, Morant, and Young

For added context, Lamelo Ball is #11 after his rookie year.
Fox, Morant and Trae are well inside the top 10. So I believe the Lamelo ranks are more realistic for Year 1.

Lamelo has more holes in his game than Suggs and less athletic. I wouldn’t trade Suggs for Lamelo.

Funny that they see Rozier at 20, and then label him as an "above-average starting point guard".
Well, by definition of above-average, shouldn´t he be at least at 14?!

Looking at that list it is clear that there are a lot of really good lead-guards in the NBA right now!
