It was a rookie mistake. I made two below-market offers for two young RFA guards thinking it would be a long shot getting one of the two. In the end, I got both. The money would not be enough to get both. But the wing that I bid thinking it was a little over the market, I lost.

yeah that is what Bish was saying with the bidding process that if you send a bunch of winning bids you could chance winning them all so you have to be selective.

The good thing though is they should at least be tradable contracts.

Oh on a 4 year? I wish he was higher on my priority list I could've easily snatched him. I'm learning my lessons though, I needed to save some roster spots to splurge because guys are not getting paid like I expected them to.

I still think the combo of Burks/Rondo/Jordan vets for $3 total is the biggest steal. Seeing those guys numbers the SIM will respect them. Other role players getting locked up for a lot more.

Yeah, I'll say more after this ends to avoid tampering but FA can be ridiculous bargain shopping. I figured O'neal was headed back to Chicago.

When I saw the Burks deal I damn near cried. His BaF production is amazing and his real life production just hit a peak, I can't believe he was available that cheap. I had him on my shortlist and even the deal I was going to start with was significantly over what he got. I just naturally assumed he'd be getting about $8-10 a year.

Also, don’t forget Smash had that top notch SIM rating working in his favor. That’s the reward for never engaging in tanking.
