Here's my top 3:
1. 2015 Wisconsin Badgers Final Four victory over Kentucky. Probably only #1 because I was able to attend.
2. Bucks in 6. (wasn't able to attend)
3. 1996 Packers super bowl victory
What say you?
Nothing tops this game/run/group.
While I love my Packers and Brewers, basketball is my favorite sport to watch and play. I still play twice a week with guys a decade or more younger than me. My next major injury could be my last time on the court. I grew up in the Jordan era and many of my friends and family bailed on the Bucks for the Bulls, which was understandable. I stuck with the Bucks.
I was able to attend numerous playoff games this year, including every home Finals game. All of this coming off a year of no, or limited, attendance due to COVID. We have the most likable team in sports history (yes, biased). But think about it. Giannis has arguably the best story in sports history. And the rest of the guys are genuinely, by all accounts, good f***ing dudes. We don't have obnoxious floppers, complainers, or guys more worried about their brand. We were down 2-0 to the Nets, 1-0 to the Hawks, and 2-0 to the Suns.
This is as sweet and rewarding as it gets. The pinnacle of my fandom. Its all downhill from here. Unless we're able to pull off the coveted Wisco Sweep with the Brewers and Packers, or secure a dynasty like run with the Bucks.
