Rockets trade
Eric Gordon
Daniel House

Bulls Trade
Coby
Troy Brown
Derrick Jones

Houston gets off Gordon's money for next year and he doesn't fit their timeline/is hurt often. House is probably leaving as FA anyway and they get to take a flier on Coby's fit with their young core

Bad for us, leaves us too thin at the wing spot.

I don't think the $ work on that one.

This trade sucks. Eric Gordon. Isn’t he like 35. He isn’t pushing us anywhere.

Lonzo, Jones, and 2/3 firsts might be one of the top offers for Simmons. Might have to include white to make the cap work

? We dont have 2/3 firsts to offer. And I’m sure Philly can do better than getting Lonzo and Derrick Jones. You’re overrating our guys. Haliburton, Buddy, and multiple 1sts from SAC is a much better offer.

Guys, we can't trade recently signed players for a while. We're not players for Ben Simmons, though we could be part of the deal as a 3rd team.

I’m not over rating them. I said one of the top and I don’t think they’ll get a lot of offers. And I think the jkings said they’re not trading Halliburton or fox so there’s that.

Fair enough. But we can't beat what Sacramento or Toronto could offer in a trade.

It’s hard to find a worse fit between 2 (fringe) All Stars than DeRozan and Simmons. Never understood why people wanted Simmons so much, but I definitely don’t understand it now. He’s obviously not getting traded to Chicago and that’s good.

I've been kind of thinking this management likes to play chess. I'm kind of wondering when we signed DeRozan will give you the money you want but we may trade you down the line kind of thing.

I know this part's kind of hope full wishing but there's some coincidences here. Durant and DeRozan are both tradable January 8th. We made sure we got a 10 million player and some pics to go along with him which would make the salaries match. Mills and Aldridge possibly are also there with some familiarity. Yeah I know I just want a legit number one

I’d rather keep Ball. Simmons reputation does not match his game. Would be shocked if Ball ends up better in the end since he actually cares about improving.

Yeah I zero interest Simmons. $35 million for guy who is afraid to shoot and can’t make a free throw? No thanks.

I think Simmons is actually pretty talented in several key areas of basketball, but unfortunately shooting isn't one of them. The league places a premium on this skill these days, and the Bulls current structure seems to dictate that having a PG that can shoot, especially the 3 pt. is pretty important.

Philly can’t trade for a big center because they already have Embiid, even if the value is fair.

Trading away guys you signed 4 months prior is never a good look. I get that in a trade thread thinking about new ideas is fun, but looking to deal Ball or Demar is just silly.

I kind of wonder the same thing, maybe later in it’s Derozan, Coby, DJJr and the PDX first and a 27 first for Simmons…. Pat moves back to the “3”

Return to Chicago Bulls
