I think as a starting lineup its tough to beat Dallas squad. They have elite defense and there 2 stars can score and score EFF...they also pass. They probably could use one more shooter but im nitpicking.

In our SIM with injuries on though POR is deeper for me so that will be an advantage for them.

But its a great matchup

Portland is stout. But in my mind, Giannis and Jokic is better. Hell they would be better than the current and past champion Lakers with a healthy LeBron and AD.

Giannis nor Jokic are injury prone. So their reality is their health slider should be above average to excellent.

I wasn't talking about there top 2...there top 2 is probably the best 1-2 in the game. The supporting cast is much thinner than a team like POR though.

Sometimes your innovative moves work FOR YOU (Redick).

Sometimes your innovative moves work FOR YOUR OPPS (Cousins).

I gambled on the Cousins and Redick EL situations and was proven right on both. But in the end the Cousins move helped the opps more than it helped me.

I spent a lot of time planning to EL Cousins but ultimately got shot down due to an administrative process and being told I can’t EL him. So then I was forced to trade him.

After I was forced to trade him, he ultimately ends up in a destination occupying someone’s cap. So I advise the GM to EL Cousins since at that point he is definitely still unsigned and no administrator can deny the process any longer. Getting Cousins on the team’s EL would facilitate a small deal I was gambling on (another innovative move), betting the acquisition may pay off on a hopeful SIM flaw.

Well my small deal is denied on a technicality. So I attempt the small deal framework with 3 other teams and keep getting denied on the technicality. Eventually the technicality is cleared up and I am allowed to process the small trade I am attempting to make to round out my roster, nabbing my 14th/15th man in a small gamble I’m hoping may pay off in-season or at the trade deadline.

The technicality — indeed tradeable yet misunderstood — was allowed to go though. But I had 3 teams I submitted the framework for (legally) that kept getting denied due to the misunderstanding/technicality. So I was asked which deal I wanted to reprocess to close the deal. Me attempting to be stand up and honor my word, I said to go with processing the trade where I had a team EL Cousins to open up some cap for him. WRONG MOVE!!!

Comes back to bite me in the ass and makes (what should be) the whole league’s opps, even stronger!

I had a choice to get that small trade done by using two other teams as trade options that were formally submitted. I should have completed the trade using either the 2nd or 3rd trade option I submitted. Cuz then the team that had Cousins still would have been capped out and not realizing they could EL Boogie and free up major cash, or leverage the space. Ultimately helping the opps.

Sometimes your creativity can bear fruit not only for yourself, but also for others (Rose + Oladipo).

You'd think but to date the Sim hasn't given Jokic enough respect. They did win the championship with Giannis and Beal (and Jrue), ironically.

If they send me Jokic or Giannis, I could probably help them out with some depth

KP plus solid filler like Harris, Bey, Bagley, Nunn, and a great young prospect in Moody

Mavs should have a lead. Dallas missing to many bunnies and Jonas getting to many offensive rebounds/2nd chance points.
