Let's mellow with the sexual harassment speculation.
I get the situation is a bombshell, but it's kind of gross to speculate on that happening without more information. Feels pretty dirty to drag a dude with that kind of allegation with zero evidence, at least to me.

Most of us saw some great progress with last years draft picks. We had vision for a big turnaround. The shock is if we were going to do this it should have been done months ago. Not right before training camp.
In financial terms...that progress you saw was just goodwill.
Goodwill is typically shown on the balance sheet as an asset but you can't actually buy anything for that crap.
Foye if you were ever anything, but negative I would give more credibility to what you post. However, your record of 100% negativity makes me tend to dismiss whatever you have to say even if it may have merit.

Also interesting bit of trivia that I found on Wikipedia - Gupta was the guy who created the original NBA Trade Machine on ESPN

We had a coup! Rosas hired Gupta. Gupta was thought to be the frontrunner for the Kings job a year ago and stayed. I assumed out of loyalty to Rosas. Maybe not.
Something "big" has to be Simmons, right? I don't think signing Bolmaro is something big. Maybe Rosas wanted to mortgage more of the future than the new owners would allow. Maybe Rosas was willing to trade Dlo or Ant and the new owners wouldn't allow. Maybe Rosas wanted to acquire Simmons without moving a lot of future salary (no Dlo going out) and the owners didn't want to get into balance sheet hell.
Whatever happened, sounds like this was coming to a head for awhile. Maybe I'm way off, but I believe this probably ends our pursuit of Simmons.
Rosas did walk away from a GM job once before. When he was in charge of the Mavs for a couple months and left because he didn't have full control like he thought he was going to be given. Maybe Rosas made the decision to leave because he was being micromanaged or forced to work collaboratively.
I wouldn't be shocked if he ends up with the 76ers under Morey. Maybe we do a Rosas for Brand swap with Brand coming in as Gupta's #2. Brand was a disaster as a GM though.

Working fine over here using Brave
EDIT-looks like I spoke too soon, front page loads fine, but actually trying to get to a subreddit is impossible.

People are not instantly fired for no reason, what happened was big, what happened was bad, what happened left no other option.

There a million different things that could have happened and there are a million more things to discuss about the fallout of this decision. Speculating that he is a giant sex pest with zero substantiation is pretty gross, without more information.

There are only a few things he would be instantly fired over, sexual harassment is the most likely. That doesn't make him a "sex pest", creep or a bad person, sexual harassment takes many forms. But it does open up the team to liability if not addressed with swiftly.
The point is it is likely whatever happened opened the team to liability, that is why he was fired "out of the blue".
My hope is it is sexual harassment, not tampering or something criminal.

I don't think the allegations on its face suggest Rosas is a "giant sex pest" in any way.
Plus, and I hate to source Doogie, but this tweet tells me that Rosas violated the terms of the contract in someway that would preclude him from collecting on his contract
If Lore and ARod wanted to move on from Rosas, firing him for something that violates the morality clause would save them some money.

Re: Shams/Krawczynski: Rosas is out as POBO
I think it's important to remember how closely Gupta and Rosas worked together. If Rosas didn't care about Gupta, he would have let him walk. For all we know, most of Rosas' best decisions were first offered up by Gupta. I'm fine with going forward with Gupta, especially if Rosas dug his own grave. I really don't want to go in another direction because that leads to snap decisions to make a splash and that never goes well or it leads to a POBO taking a year to audit the team and I don't want that either. Let's stay to course with the rest of the current front office.

Yea this seems like an odd thing to mention if this was just some sort of basketball/vision decision.

Wolves number 1 reporter
Jonny K said something big happened and the straw broke the camels back.
Can’t go on record right now. Lots of drama in the front office.
Said Gersson did something else that sealed his fate, his own doing.
Seems like something happened but can’t go public it yet

That was all reported earlier. That's why I said nothing new.

This is incredibly bizarre timing, so I get the speculation. Last thing you would want is distracted players / front office drama hanging over the organization as training camp opens. The season hasn't even started yet and we already have a cloud forming...
And Elton Brand, seriously? I guess Vlade Divac isn't available...

I am positive when there is actually reason to be positive. My soccer team pulled an amazing turnaround from deadlast at X-Mas to staying in the league and beating to top teams like Bayern Munich. I am overly positive about these guys since the new management and coaching has arrived as long as you can see everyone is buying into the team. They were even in a more toxic situation than the Timberwolves last year. At some point the whole squad refused to train. But they have (after years of missmangement) come up with the right conclusions and turned their fortune around.
Except Edwards and McDaniels there actually isn't much to be positive within the Timberwolves organization.
It's still the same old mess of an organization that will forbid its players to play in the Olympics only to be able to trade them afterwards.
I hope for you guys that things will change with the new ownership.
Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
