Which Sixer put up 22/8/11 without Embiid in playoff games with a 3-1 record?

You mean against the lowly no defense Nets or this year against the Wizards?

Wow big accomplishment. He did well on a team that was catered to him, meanwhile Jo, was unable to do the same thing against Boston, because that team was designed around Simmons and didn't have a ball handler who could even make a simple post entry pass.

Keep ignoring this though, you're such a shill.

One of the best passers in the game, who lead the league in assists to 3pt shots, couldn't make a post entry pass? I'll keep ignoring you.

LOL, you clearly can't read. I mean when Simmons was injured against Boston in the bubble. Other than Simmons, there is no one who can do that. It's one of the reasons Jo's teams do so poorly when Ben is hurt because the team is catered to Ben with zero ball handlers.

Don't know about the post entry pass, but pretty sure he couldn't make a FT or any kind of shot outside of open dunks (and even that last part was painfull in game 7)

Racist undertones?  Where the hell do you get that from.

So me saying Embiid is stupid and has a low IQ because he makes stupid commesnts like this that only further decrease Simmons trade value even more than it was 2 days ago... that it's somehow racism?  GTFOH

He said that the team is built for Joel and that’s how it should be

No lies detected

He also said that he wants to be on a team built to suit his strengths

Again, fair enough

The problem is that he’s got a 4 year contract not anything that he said about Joel in that latest leak

Joel hates taking 3's he only does it because we have a PG who can't shoot. He actually developed his game around Ben.

This whole narrative that Ben wasn't given the keys is just nonsense this team has coddled him non-stop it's honesly largely why we find ourselves where we do

Joel is on record saying he wants to model his game after KD. Not sure where you made up this nonsese from?

Do you really have to have me pull up the quotes. For most of his career Embiid has been a terrible 3PT shooter he only developed that part of his game because he was forced because Ben couldn't or wouldn't.

Now that he has put the work in and developed a legit 3PT shot of course he isn't going to have an issue shooting 3's

Don’t see how Embiid comments which were answering to Bens teams comments really changes anything but you do you.

Also not sure what iq has to do with anything in this situation. He answered the questions very maturely and accurately. Again the simple fact that telling the truth is seen as a a bad thing reflects poorly on Ben and his team more than anything. I mean if they need people to kiss his ass in order to make things better then **** em. Also again Biid ended said comments saying that the team still needs Ben flaws and all to be good soooo I really don’t get the idea that it’s a total diss against him… just that the idea that the team is not built to his strengths is total bull

Well, I will say this. If you've officially remarked over and over again about how bad Ben sucks as a basketball player, then you have absolutely no right at all to complain about what we get in return for him. He's most likely a $hitty person, definitely an entitled brat, and without a doubt 100% outwardly selfish, but I never once have thought of him as a bad basketball player. Just one that isn't as good as he thinks he is. Now, when we do finally trade him, I'm personally not going to complain about the return because it will be addition by subtraction at that point.

I truly don’t see a deal between Philly and Washington, Beal probably isn’t signing that extension and costing himself money, trading Ben+ for an expiring is an insane risk. Especially if you trade 4 years of Ben and 7-8 years of Maxey for him and he walks

I remember an article from the Athletic quoting the Wiz as a possible destination for Ben if Beal requested a trade. The phrasing of the article suggested Washington would be interested in Ben.

I don't think Joel Embiid is dumb at all , but if *calling* someone dumb is racist, we've just basically gotten to the point we need to nuke the world and explode in a fiery implosion of woke offendedness and that's that, Dr. Strangelove time. Love The Bomb.

I mean really now.

Agreed, enough about calling people racist for everything, it was just a wrong argument and that's it. Just like saying Simmons sucks doesn't mean I'm racist, it's just the plain truth.

Ben's theoretical value can not get any lower or higher based off of statements.

Ben's camp leak for wanting out and Embiid's comments really didn't move the needle beyond what it already was IMO.

Again the idea is to either get off to a great start without Ben (doubtful) or wait for other teams to flop out of the gates and then for the FAs to be tradable again. Nothing has changed from that. So unless someone gets antsy and puts up a good package (my guess is the Wolves to get pass the Rosas stuff)..thats where we are at.

Can we please stop jumping at every single response already?

I'd make the argument we've all learned more about his (lack of) character from not playing basketball ... He has a multi-hundred-million-dollar contract that he himself demanded and it's an employment contract - and he's refusing to do his job... because he has had a hissy fit at his own struggles.

That's a pretty big indictment on someone's character.

Earth to Samson

The Sixers don’t want him back

The only reason why he’s still on the roster is that Morey hasn’t found a trade he likes

At least Simmons is being upfront about it

Ben does not come off well from these leaks.

But not going to condemn a guy over basketball...its not that serious lol. Again I don't see how any player could come back from that series and play for the same team again.....especially in this city. I don't blame Ben for wanting out...I don't think any of the leaks put out to hopefully force Morey's hand is a good look tho. Again AD and to a lesser extent Harden; beyond being accomplished were in actual bad situations that had reached their end. Not so here but again I also can't imagine putting on the sixers uniform again after that **** show...especially if I wasn't going to come back a whole new player...which at this point is not happening...at least not right away. he really is in a lose/lose situation..but I think Klutch really thought that the anti-sixers agenda would be on their side...when it just has not been lol. The only people defending Ben in the media are Klutch adjacent dudes and dudettes like Windhorst and Shelleborn. That throws a wrench in things for the sympathy battle.

Although I am sure another Embiid is a big poopy head article is on the way tho. Its there only path forward now. Gotta make it so it is even more obvious that the two can't play another game together. But again that's their job at this stage...

What anti Sixers propaganda?

Nothing attributed to Simmons has been remotely negative about the Sixers

I gotta say, this is the weirdest fandom of them all. At least I can wrap my head around the trolling nature of other fans. These have to be his family members or something.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
