Sure, but your girlfriend is my girlfriend now.
Joke's on you. I don't have one. But if I did, we have a deal.

Champaigne looks bigger than I thought he was. We played him at the 5 no? What's his measurements??

his pull up shooting is more legit this year. this is going to be a guy who is going to shoot if you have your hands down on D. he seems a lot more confident with his jump shot.
with the looks Nurse was giving him on offense, there's definitely more leniency on what he can do this year (and not just be a spot up 3 point shooter like the last 2-3 years)
Og’s had a quick trigger since his rookie season. Right now Nick can’t bench him when he takes low iq shots as there are no scorers here.
Lol. He was scoring easily and doing what he should do pre-season. Pretty bad take.

Barnes by his 3rd year will also have a better passing highlight package than any Raptor in history.
Some of the reads he makes would be incredible for a 5th year PG never mind a guy who only played one year of college off the bench.
You can't teach high end passing, hustle and work ethic. The other stuff hopefully comes along.
He'll have plenty of turnovers, but everything I saw tonight looked like he had the right read it just didn't work out. Nothing that suggested bad decision making.

He's on the Raps so he has to be either 6'8" or 6'9" no?

So are we going to post when Suggs has a good game too?
I'm sure you will find plenty of people who will do that.
I just found it hilarious that you bashed a 2nd rounder Banton who actually had a pretty good game and then got offended for seeing someone post Suggs shooting numbers tonight.
I commented on a player on the Raptors. You commented on a player not on the Raptors
I find that quite funny.
Oh the horror. It's only been done about 15 times in this thread alone. And I actually like Suggs. I think he's going to be a good player. I simply posted his shooting numbers from tonight.
Meanwhile you said "We can be excited about Barnes without dumping on Suggs" and then 5 minutes prior to this post you dumped on Banton.
Now that's funny.

This team is built to have regular season success. We have the depth to sustain injuries should they happen (knock on wood) and to play hard for a full 48+ minutes keeping fresh legs on the floor at all times. I really wouldn't be surprised if we're in the running to have home court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

Like Vince/McGrady level except more of a winner, less of a scorer. I know I sound like a homer but I got a really good feeling about this. I can see his impact/advanced stats being through the roof when he hits his ceiling.
I'm still not getting superstar vibes as he doesn't have anything resembling a half-court offence yet, but the potential is there.
Yeah, superstar is a hard thing to project, but that was easily the most versatile and polished debut from a Raptors rookie at least since Bosh. Demar, Tross, JV, Pascal, Fred were all way more raw at the beginning.
Physically he is just in a different league and he is already adept at NBA speed. Very impressive.

Re: PG: The Scottie Barnes Experience
The odds of Dragic getting traded before the deadline fell dramatically tonight, I believe. He's the vet the young'ns will need once they find themselves in a playoff position, and that's happening, folks.
He will only get traded for an Embiid-/Drummond-/Bam-stopper. And who's that now? Horford ain't going anywhere.

I’m totally okay keeping him. It would be nice to have a veteran guard with the young guys.

I think this will be the starting lineup by the end of the year.
That should be the starting lineup at the beginning of the year... it at least has to be a potential closing lineup...
Only thing is I'd maybe bring achiuwa off the bench because he looks like the next siakam and he can help run bench mob 3.0
Fvv/flynn
Barnes/Trent
Og/yuta
Siakam/achiuwa
Boucher/birch
If banton keeps playing well he and Flynn might even be interchangeable. Depends on if you need more shooting or not.
Honestly Goran is odd man out here. I realize he's an experienced but I'd rather go big and develop young guys. Hopefully we can get a nice deal for him soon.
I am surprised you don't have Mykhailiuk who played like the top 3 guys on our team tonight.
And I don't see Banton in the 905 that long, he needs to tighten his handling (and shooting), but I think his impact against bench players are obvious, meaning he will be too good to be in the 905.
VanVleet/Dragic/Flynn
Mykhailiuk/Trent/Banton
OG/Watanabe
Siakam/Barnes
Birch/Boucher/Achiuwa
Our turning point would be Barnes able to shoot the ball. Meanwhile, the length and size of our bench will kill teams.

We are going to look scary defensively. The length of this squad is insane.

I hope he’s not traded. He looked like he was having fun tonight. His scrappy game fits the persona of this team and he’ll bring much needed veteran leadership in the playoffs.

I thought that he's actually not needed seeing how Svi actually has an all around game and Barnes looks like he'll be capable of facilitating.
We can't let him walk for nothing because we won't get to spend his 19mill next year or something. If we can get a C prospect or a SG prospect for him that'd be a plus for us.

Barnes form looks way way way better than Kumingas. Yuck.
