Ball Don't Lie: The LaMelo Ball Thread

Post#1701 » by BigSlam » Tue Oct 12, 2021 4:29 pm

A purple with teal accents colourway would look pretty nice.

Make the lines of the wings on the heal teal over purple and teal wings will really pop.

Black or white with 2nd and 3rd a accents of teal and purple. You could make colorways that look like grape Jordan 8's or 5's. Not saying the shoe is up there with Jordan because it's not. But if they got a similar color because it is basically the teams colors, damn that would be nice!

Those colors bring back horrible memories.

The other thing I don't get is that if March really is the deadline to submit number changes, players like Monk who was wearing #1 was still on the team in March. The number didn't open up until the offseason when Monk was allowed to walk.

So how can a player like LaMelo change to a number that is already occupied by a player who wont be here the following season?

Kinda looks like the Turbo on NBA Jam, so I don't mind him wearing it

Hasn’t even started his second season yet and already the NBA is pushing for LaMelo to be in LA.

It's going to be unbearable when he approaches free agency

Weird, I wonder why the video was taken down?

It was 100% there when I posted it.

If it meant keeping Ball his entire career I'd have no problem keeping Liangelos ass glued to the bench. Like, at all.

I really was not expecting that quote from lamelo. That is so refreshing to hear him say that. Hopefully Jordan has been in his ear about what how if you are a superstar then you let others come to you not the other way around.

Sure, he says that now.

Let's see if he's still singing that song in 3 years time.

It was a good article. Expanding on the point, he said, "You supposed to just go to a team and build from there — I feel like that’s how it should be,” Ball said. “Especially when you like a high pick too, most likely going to a team that wasn’t as good, so you try to make them better. I feel like that’s the whole process right there.”
